For about $ 50/night(including tax and with coupon…), it’s hard to find a lower cost option for stays in Canton. I couldn’t shake the feeling that the room carried the vibe of college friend’s basement(sans the Animal House poster and red Solo cups from last week’s get-together): a little dark and a little musty, furnished with the bed and chairs that used to be upstairs… yet in the same couch-surfing sort of way, the sheets were clean, there was a shower available and the hospitality was genuine. This Knight’s Inn is set up motel-style with parking immediately in front of the rooms. All rooms are in single-level buildings. Access to the highway is convenient and close. There’s also a Dunkin Donuts nearby if you don’t want the cereal, donuts and juice offered as part of the included«continental» breakfast. Calling the accommodations«dingy» would be unfair, but they’re certainly«dated» and well-worn. Expect only basic toiletries(soap, maybe shampoo) to be available and few on-site amenities. For short stays, the marginal cost of upgrading to another, nicer property is probably not worth it. If you’re at all particular though(or traveling with someone who is): this place is basic. Plan accordingly.
