Poor management from the top down. I wouldn’t recommend shopping at this location and it’s only few miles away.

Good savings … Lots of options but I wouldn’t recommend men shop here. It’s not organised and you have only a few good options. But it’s a good place for women’s clothing. The general shopping items are pretty good.

Can’t say this Kohls is much different than the other one a few miles up on the road on Ford or other locations. They have a great selection of clothing for the entire family, bedding, towels, housewares, jewelry, gifts, etc, etc, etc. They have great sales and if you have a Kohls charge card, you can get additional discounts. Their return policy has also been very generous (compared to other department stores).

Terrible customer service. Just got home and am rather upset about my visit to this Kohl’s. My husband bought a size large shirt at the Kohl’s in Canton on Ford Road, but it was too small on him. I went to this Kohl’s on Michigan Avenue to exchange it for the exact same shirt in a size XL and had taken time to select $ 80 in merchandise. At the register, my husband’s XL shirt rung up for $ 3.60 more than the other shirt! David, the cashier, radioed Rachel in Customer Service for assistance, but she told him if it was bought at a different store, clearance prices vary. So, she said I could return the large shirt and rebuy the identical extra large shirt at a higher price. Are you kidding me?! It’s not like these stores are in different states or regions… they are in the same town! I have choices in which Kohl’s to shop. This Kohl’s on Michigan Avenue lost my sale tonight (heading to Ford Rd after dinner) and has lost a customer FOR LIFE over three dollars and sixty cents! By the way, this Kohl’s has no greeter when you walk in and I had to interrupt a cashier to get assistance (by radioing someone) for some help in the men’s department, as no one was around on the floor after several minutes of looking for someone to help.

A newer Kohl’s (built within the last couple years). They actually have some people around who *gasp* help you find things and make suggestions that work.
I really liked the way they handled crowds at the register on black friday, they even handed out candy canes while you waited and got people who were overloaded some carts and bags to make it easier on them.
I wanted to mention it as it is off the beaten path, on the way out to Ypsi and I think it gets overlooked.
It is one of the few Kohl’s where I have had any real service along with the excellent prices and deals you can find at a Kohl’s. It is less crowded than other Kohl’s and they seem to be better stocked as well.
This is the only Kohl’s I go to.
