I have always complimented this location for its consistency for which the new location on Ann Arbor Rd lacks. Tonight we were in and noticed that our normal meals were portioned smaller than normal and the flavor of the fajita chicken was bland, almost as if they forgot the seasoning. Our service was great, Ashley does a wonderful job and is more aware of what’s going on than the manager himself. I like the new benches in place outside but wish the team would do a better job monitoring the inside heat. Our last three visits have been a bit uncomfortable due to heat. 6−18−16 Late Saturday lunch early dinner. Very slow upon arrival but noticed a woman acting oddly. We started our linner with queso fundido, salsa and chips and drinks. After a bit we ordered chicken fajitas for two. Both the appetizer and our dinner arrived quickly and tasted great. Service was very good although our server left around 3:00 pm I guess for a break before dinner service. The gal who took over did very well. Now back to the woman. She was outside smoking a cigarette and pacing when we arrived. She ended up back in the restaurant sitting at the bar. Nothing ordered just sitting there leaving the three girls working uneasy. A server came over and I asked abut the gal and she said that she had been hanging out since this morning. Rolling her own smokes at the bar then going outside to smoke em. As we were finishing our meal she got up and moved to the kitchen entrance. Just standing and staring. Then back to barstool for a bit then she came back to kitchen entrance actually pushing the kitchen door open yelling to get a make server to take her order at the bar. The server came back and I introduced my self as a friend of the business and that she needed to call the non emergency police # and ask for a walk through if the business because of one guest making you uncomfortable. All of a sudden this woman leaves, or so we thought, she was hiding outside front door and when I left I smelled her biting cigarette. I told my wife that I couldn’t leave these girls by themselves so I went back in and called cop shop myself and asked for walk through. Just before I finished call someone came and picked this woman up. The ownership and management needs to make sure that they are leaving their business in the hands of properly trained people. All three girls were very nice but had no idea that they could do this with the police. Not to mention the manager was there and then he wasn’t. He left for a break as well.

Love it… the first 20 times I came here, I ordered something different each time… now, I usually crave the Chicken Toluca… also the staff usually goes out of their way to get me some chorizo for an appetizer, which isn’t necessarily on the menu as one… our service is usually not bad, but sometimes, to be honest… it can need a kick in the seat… but it’s definitely my favorite around.

Food is great, but the service is AWFUL. The waitress rolled her eyes when we asked for a couple of minutes to look at the menu, refused to bring us a second refill of chips, and was overall very hostile. I would chalk it up to her having a rough day, but this happened the last three times we were there. We won’t be returning.

The chips and salsa are fresh and delicious. Our meals were outstanding. We had the chicken chimichanga and tacos de Carne asada. We also tried dessert. Fried ice cream and fried banana. Both were very good. Service was great. Atmosphere is fantastic. We will be back!

Consistently good Tex Mex with pretty good service. They have some inventive fajita combinations and decent prices. Try the fajita pioneero(sp) If you are looking for somewhere for a mexican bite, this is the place.

Great little hole in the wall authentic Mexican food. Service was friendly but a little to busy. Food was very good. Could use so more help for quicker turn around.

One of the worst I’ve been to. Nice décor, super friendly staff but really crappy food. If you like giant portions of bad Mexican food this is your place.

Five years into our relationship and still madly in love! I’m hooked on Tacos de Carne Asada, Fajita Quesadilla with Steak, and now Tacos Loco — OMG, serious cravings for any of these! Their salsa is so much better than the place down Ford Road. The interior is festive and spacious, there’s lovely patio seating also. There is never a long wait. And the service is always friendly and prompt.

The first time you walk into this place you will either love or hate the décor. Let me just say it’s ummm… unique. I will agree it feels very Mexican, all of the wait staff are Mexican as well is the music that has been playing every time I’ve dined there. They have lunch specials and the service is always quick. I had a sangria once, and really did not care for it at all. I usually go at lunch and have to go back to work so drinking isn’t usually an option anyway. The chips and salsa can be very hit or miss, which is unfortunate because bad salsa sets the tone for the entire meal in my opinion. Of all the menu items I’ve tried I do enjoy the enchilada verdes the most. I get them with chicken and like the combination of the green sauce and the chicken, it pairs nicely. While not totally authentic Mexican food, I think they authentically do Americanized Mexican dishes, if that makes sense. One thing they do have going for them is a nice patio, check it out during the warmer months. Patio seating in the Canton area is almost non-existent so this is a nice change of pace.

I’ve only been the this mexican restaurant once. I came with a group of friends for Cinco de Mayo. While I enjoyed the comapny, my food was just average. To be completely honest I’ve had better Taco Bell. The food had no taste. The chips and salsa were pretty good. Our server was very nice but it took a long time to get our food. I think this might be a great place if you want to grab a drink with a friend and enjoy the patio.

Whoever writes that this place has authentic Mexican food has not really had authentic Mexican food! At an authentic place your tacos come on corn tortillas and you would have to request flour. The hot sauce is usually made in house, here is not! The chips were stale. No flavor in the food at all! I wish I could take everyone who wrote that this place is authentic to a real one. Absolutely disappointed!

I have several friends who lived either along the U.S. Border with Mexico, or well into the interior around Mexico City. They all tell me that if you want authentic Mexican food, you have to hop on an airplane and head to Texas if you want some great food. However, if you prefer to stay around the local area, and still enjoy Mexican fare, then I have to recommend Los Tres Amigos in Canton. I went there with my friend the other day, and was rather amazed at the interior of this establishment. I won’t spoil it for everyone, but its really different from what I am used to seeing at some other places. One clue I will give is think«animation.» I ordered a quartet of shrimp enchiladas, and a beef tamale. It’s been ages since I had a tamale, and it was very good. However, most of them I have enjoyed in the past were completely round. This one however, was more like a burrito. Nevertheless, the enchiladas were excellent, and the portions were so large that I will finish off the rest tonight for dinner after bringing a doggie bag home. The friend that was with me loves hard-shell tacos. He had three beef tacos with sour cream, and a mixture of vegetables. He said these were a cut above the other he’s a had lately at other nearby Mexican Restaurants. So if you’re looking a place that serves really good Mexican food, and don’t have time to fly south of border for the real deal, then head over to Canton for some great food. The only reason I am not giving this review five stars, is due to the fact the men’s bathroom was out of order, and had been that way for a few hours. There’s nothing like having dinner with a few drinks, and having to go outside and find yourself a friendly tree that isn’t being used by a overly territorial canine.

We’ve come here 3 times now, once with each of our folks, and once with just my family of four. We’ve had small kids with us each time. The décor is very bright, almost to a fault. But the kids like it, and it’s kind of endearing. There are murals on all the wallls that are great for I-Spy while we wait for food. Waitstaff have always been nice, and they accommodate kids very well. We always see lots of families with kids there. It’s pretty loud, so small kids fit right in. It’s fine if you don’t have kids, but it’s probably not the best place for a quiet romantic dinner. The food is pretty good … 4⁄5 stars for the price and genre, like this review. I actually really like their rice and beans … Definitely more flavor than some other places I’ve been. All the food in general is better than many family-friendly Mexican places I’ve been. Not the best in the metro area, but definitely pretty good. Dinner entrees range from 8 – 15, so it’s pretty inexpensive. They also have an a la carte section, and nice vegetarian section.

Ok basically sums it up… As of right now(6⁄2015), there are two Mexican restaurants in town and I would rank this in second place. I came on a Wednesday night at about 7:15 and it wasn’t overly busy. I was greeted quickly and asked for a table outside. Shortly after sitting down I was given a basket of chips and a bottle of salsa. While the salsa was ok(a little bland), the chips were very stale. The menu is extensive. A lot of options. Chicken, pork, beef, seafood and everything in between. I looked at the menu and decided on the beef taquito dinner. I think I should have ordered something else. It wasn’t all that great. The shredded beef had very little taste and the consistency reminded me of a stringy pot roast. Maybe it’s supposed to be that way, but I didn’t care for it. It came with a very small amount of sour cream, salsa and an extremely under ripe tomato. On a positive note, they have a full bar. The margaritas are very good. They also have outdoor seating which sets it aside from Mexican Fiesta, but I would rather go there.

This is one of the best Mexican restaurant around! Amazing food, Friendly waitresses. Any customization welcomed. The free chips and salsa was great! good selection of hot sauces! We ordered the basic stuff chille poblanos … Yum. Bigger than usual! Spinach and mushroom Chimichanga with verde! Awesome!!! The place as such super busy! Little dizzy décor inside! but we sat outside, really nice. But heard they are going to paint it to, «noooo». Will definitely recommend this place.

Font judge the restaurant by the quality of salsa they serve … Wait for the food… Best place to get perfect margaritas during happy hours… They Only offer discounts on regular margaritas but two of those regular margaritas would do enough damage ;) ordered fajipino, it was good amount can easily feed two normally hungry people or one awefully hungry person… The shrimp on top of fajipino were awesome… Neither under nor over cooked… Would suggest restaurant to change their salsa chips and food and service everything is okay …

Ew. And Ew. On a packed Thursday evening, we headed in. I’ve been here before for Sangria and chips/guac on the porch. Just not inside for a long time, or for any real food. My friends from Germany were in and wanted Mexican. Since I’m not a Mexican Fiesta fan at all, this was our next choice in Canton. A bad one. I remedied the situation the next day heading down to Mexicantown, but still… Service: bad. We had to ask 3 times for water. Food: Yuck. Chips: stale. Salsa: bland and ketchupy. As my friend said when we were leaving, «bad restaurant, and bad movie. They should have a picture of 3 amigos outside to warn you.» This is my first 1 star review I’ve ever written in 300+ reviews.

Love this Mexican restaurant. The staff and food are great. Always get guacamole, and chips as appetizers as they’re amazing. The staff is real friendly that help with suggestions and tips on what to order if you’re not sure. I got the chicken fajitas and being grilled on the skillet and was brought out in one too. The fresh tortilla with the sides were amazing. Defiantly recommend this place to anyone. Being right next 3 Mexican restaurants I always go here and never an issue. At times even with parties I get carry out for there chips and salsa and guacamole and it’s always packed properly and to the order. Which is something I enjoy. Don’t have to worry about double checking. Everything is made fresh.

Plymouth/Canton’s best Mexican restaurant by 100%. I love their enchiladas and tacos! Their salsa is great, but even better when you mix in one of the many hot sauces found on the table to enhance the heat, which is perfect for me, cause I like it HOT! Their refried beans were the best I ever had, perfect texture. Great cheerful waitstaff. I can’t wait to come back soon.
