Mandarin House

Mandarin House, wow I wish I could rate you in negative stars. Crap! is the best way to describe this meal. I ordered the Beef with Scallops a «house specialty.» If you enjoy chum flavored bubblegum this is the place for you. Garbage, disguised as crappy Chinese food is what you brought to my door. I will say that the delivery time was fast. Please spend more time on food prep. Also, don’t forget my egg roll, various sauces and fortune cookie, I received none of these to mask the flavor of your plastic encasement of shit. I received you menu strategically placed on my mailbox. All those man hours spent on menu design and attaching these menus I would image boosted sales for the month of Nov. I can’t imagine you getting any repeat business so please tell me what you have in store for the month of Dec. It must be BIG, like the current taste of ass in my mouth. Close your doors now and avoid an impending economic and financial failure. Good luck, sionara and good bye to a crappy, crappy food delivery «restaurant».

On a whim my daughter and I, stopped in around 630p to our surprise there were only a hand full of customer. This being the case, we thought we’d be able to make a quick take out order and be on our way before the nightly news finished up.
Boy, were we wrong! It took ten minutes just to have someone take our order and from what we could tell they only had 2 people working… on a FRIDAY! Long story short, 45 minutes later we finally received our take out order. People who came in after us we seated, ate and paid before we got our order! Needless to say, we were incredibly frustrated. The guy cooking, bussing and taking our order did apologize quickly and gave us 2 sodas for free, but it was hardly worth the wait.
Now on to the food, BLAH is all I can say. It was flavorless, over cooked and at times it tasted «chemically». A complete disappointment, is there ANY good Chinese food in Canton?

It was not the greatest place I have ever been too but the portions where good for the price and the food was pretty good as well. I would have loved a little more flavor in teh egg drop soup as it was a bit more about salt than then anything else. The pepper steak and house fried rice where good though and I would eat here again

Love this place because it not only has good food, but also delivers. That’s a big plus for us since we live past Knox Bridge. Not the best Chinese food we’ve ever had, but it’s good.

This is hands down, not only the oldest chinese restaurant in Canton, but the best. The service is excellent as well as the food. My family and I have been eating here since I was a very young girl and they know us all and are always delighted when we visit and bring friends. An excellent choice for family get together’s with the family that runs the restaurant! :-)
