I was so looking forward to Leafguard Gutters, but their installation and communication are horrendous — and now we are locked in to a lifetime guarantee where I don’t even know if they will return our phone calls! We should have known when the sales rep forgot to show up to our first appointment(«scheduling complications») that it was going to be like this, but we gave them the benefit of the doubt. We were convinced their product was superior, and worth the extra money. When they came to install, they only came with one guy(and a dog) and despite the measurements the sales rep took, it was a two-man job, so they could only do half of the work. Then over a week later(without gutters on the front of our house) they came back to do the rest of the work, and still couldn’t do part of our house due to the Victorian architecture(would have been nice to know that when the sales rep was here). So we have 2/3rds LeafGuard gutters, and 1⁄3 old gutters. But don’t worry — they immediately called the next day to get their full payment, which we did not pay since they needed to adjust the estimate to account for the footage they did not actually replace. Bottom line: unless this product really is above and beyond all other gutters out there, don’t put yourself through the hassle of dealing with them. NOTWORTHIT!

We wanted to share our experience working with Minuteman Seamless Gutters out of Hudson, MA. Known for their LeafGuard gutter system. Let’s just say six visits by two different crews, installing 2 different gutter systems(including LeafGuard) — EPICFAIL!!! We fired them! Already spent $ 1900 to fix some of damage they caused. Worth every penny to be rid of them! They even dumped a bunch of paint thinner on a six month old asphalt driveway to remove paint they had spilled during one of their visits and drove off without telling us!!! It was quite a shock to see our driveway crumbling the next morning — paint thinner eats away and ruins asphalt!!!

Avoid at all costs Minuteman Leafguard Gutters. Several years ago I saw Leafguard gutters on an episode of This Old House and had them installed in my home in Sudbury. It was 2 years later I had them removed and installed conventional seamless gutters. This was a hard and expensive lesson to learn. These would be fine if you owned a house with a simple(I mean simple) roof where no roof lines meet. But if you have ANY roof lines that meet, the combined water will be enough to run right over the Leafguard gutters and TOTALLY defeat the purpose of what the gutter is supposed to do. Absolutely do NOT believe these guys when they say they have solutions for this. They simple do not. So if you do not have the simplest of roofs where two sides meet at a peak(99% of the people), this system is an epic fail.
