Monical’s Pizza

I see some negative reviews on here and most are from people out of town. One wanted the special changed as their kids didn’t like salad. One said they used canned mushrooms, fresh ones dry up and there is no flavor. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Pizza is a local product made to local tastes. No better or worse than your area folks.

The service was decent all they did was bring out the food though. Half our hot wings were burnt and the other half weren’t cooked all the way. My Salad was good. I came here years ago and it was so good. Not sure if I just came on a bad night. The pizza was decent but I wouldn’t come back.

I just say «WOW»!!! The service was outstanding… we arrived at 9:30 and the store was due to close at 10:00, the staff was friendly and ready to make our experience a hood one. We ordered pizza and salad and WOW was the salad big… the pizza was just perfectly thin and delicious!!!

I’m not from Canton, so I haven’t had the chance to eat here, not sure if I want to, reason be is, I called Monical’s one night because me and my family wanted to order out so I called to see if they had any other specials besides 1 Pizza a Salad and a Bottle of Soda, for about $ 25.00 I tried to ask the guy on the phone if they had any other specials without the salad and soda because I have bottles of soda at home and my kids are small and didn’t really care for salad I asked if they had maybe a 2 Pizza Special, he replied with a Big NOPE! and asked if I was going to order the special they had or not? in a Rushed Voice! I told him I had to discuss it with my husband that I would call back, he didn’t seem interested and hung up! We ended up ordering from Marcos pizza which was delicious and plus they have a lot of different family friendly specials! We have been ordering there ever since

the restaurant sign says they are open until midnight. we went by at 11pm last evening and looked in to see all of the chairs on the tables. the two ladies working turned away from us as we went for the door. we left. we were both disappointed because we really like Monical’s. this experience really ruined our impression of this restaurant. do not go here late at night.

Best Monical’s out there … Traditional ovens and ingredients, and it hasn’t turned into the chain restaurant most have. The pizza just tastes better here than any other Monical’s I have been too! Get the whole family pleaser and enjoy! And don’t forget to dip your pizza in the special unique salad dressing.

This small Illinois chain pizza place has the best pizza in Canton. Very thin and crispy crust cut party style. This pizza goes great with a nice hot sauce or their own version of French dressing. You are probably going to have better luck with their delivery or carry out because the smallish restaurant is usually pretty crowded. Be on the lookout for the ads they post on Facebook occasionally. You can find some really good deals on their pizza that way.

Monical’s is a small chain in Illinois but the best location is def Canton.
I may be bias because I worked there for several years, but this place rocks. Always go for the original thin crust, it has a perfect crunch. Also do not pass up their french dressing. I know for a fact they go through gallons of it a day; it is amazing on the pizza and on the salad. Family Pleaser (Pizza, Salad, and Soda) is the way to go. Don’t be surprised if Jim Carter, the owner, joins you at your table for a chat! He is the best. Its a little pricey compared to other pizza joints in town, but totally worth it. Can’t wait to fly home, Monical’s will be my first stop!
