I went to Mulligan’s for dinner my first night in town on work… and then again the second night.
The first night I had the Reuben, which I feel is all that I eat when I travel for some reason. I should probably cut back on those. I digress. The waitress that night said the Reuben was «slammin» so obviously I was going to get it. She was right, it was slammin’. The selling point on any Reuben for me is the bread. I do not want my mouth cut open from hard Rye bread. Mulligan’s delivered on the bread and the Reuben was done very well.
The second night I went with the brisket and the BBQ chicken. I wish I would have not gotten this meal because it was WAY to much food. I couldn’t finish ½ of it. I also wish I would have opted not to get the chicken (the bar tender told me not too) but I wanted to sample it all.
Overall the food was great and the staff was even better. Both nights the bartenders who waited on me were very friendly and I had a great time. I’m not saying the guy the second night gave me a free beer because we’re both Dallas Cowboy fans… but I’m not saying it didn’t happen.
I’d recommend this place to anyone!

This used to be me and my wife’s favorite restaurant as it was the site of our first date. We have dined here for many special occasions. However after today I will have serious thoughts about coming back. My wife ordered her shish-​kaBob prepared rare as she has done many times in the past. Her meal arrived completely overcooked. She cut through each piece and each one was at least «medium». She politely sent it back to be prepared to her liking when a «manager» — Jocelyn I believe– approached us to let us know that she checked the steak and that it was prepared correctly and we could either take the plate or take it off our bill. So basically my wife sat there while I finished my meal. Then it took another 20 minutes for us to receive our check. The funny thing is that we were just about to ask about reservations for tomorrow (New Years Eve) for a party of 8 that loves to eat and drink.

I went for lunch around 1 o clock on a weekday. The service was so unbelievably slow. I ordered a soup and salad and didn’t get my food for 40 minutes. The lobster bisque wasn’t anything to write home about. Honestly I’m surprised this place is still in business. I never write bad reviews, this is the first — wow, what a terrible restaurant, and waay overly priced!

I’ve gone to Mulligan’s for years and generally have had no complaints. However, last night’s experience has set me off. Full disclosure: I was part of a large party of about 40 adults and children, so I expected there to be a minor hiccup or two. What I didn’t expect was the extra slow, no method to the madness service. Even with large parties, the general rule is that the guests are all served close to the same time. Not so last night. There were no complex orders (everyone had hamburgers, prime rib, leg of lamb or lobster tails) yet there were some in our party who were finished with their entire meals while others were still waiting on appetizers. I arrived at 6:30 and didn’t receive my lobster tails until nearly 9. In the three hours that I was there, I never received an offer for a drink refill. My mother’s prime rib arrived so late that she no longer had an appetite, so she just asked for a box to take it home. And to top all of this off, this morning I have three pending charges from Mulligan’s on my credit card. Despite the service, I tipped my waitress 20% because it’s the holiday season and you never know what someone might be going through. However, I might be soured on Mulligan’s henceforth. At the very least, I’ll never use them for another large family dinner.

mulligans has decent food and pricing. The staff is friendly. It wasn’t anything spectacular but not terrible either.

I have been here a few times, the burgers and filet salad are great! I was disappointed that they up charge for fries with their burgers.
The service keeps getting slower and slower. Today our waitress was no where to be found they were not busy and we had to have the hostess track her down.

Food was good, but not great. Some of the bust boys weren’t good at service either. Kind of looked untrained. Besides the bust boys, service was pretty good.

Not great. Prime rib was ridiculously salty. Service was bad. Waitress couldn’t remember who ordered what and put the wrong plates in front of everyone. This place is puported as having the best prime rib in canton? Do yourself a favor and go to Lucias. Way better service and food. What is with the bathrooms in this place. 1 urinal for 50 tables? Are u serious?

Food is always fresh and good. Great place for beef or ribs. I recommend the large strip steak lightly Cajun with a half rack of ribs. Try the broccoli too. FRESH STEAMED with butter.

Will never be back. The service was very very slow and the food was just mediocre. There was a table that was sitting next to us that actually walked out because no one had been there to get their drinks or greet them after atleast 10 minutes of sitting there.

The exterior is misleading, having never been here before I was totally unprepared for how nice it is inside. The library room is something to be seen to appreciate fully, my experience was very good with the service and the food was great. I had the pork chops and portions were generous, meat was moist and seasoned well, sides were fresh and plentiful. Overall had a very pleasant time with 2 other business associates who also liked thier dinners. I will most definitely return with my family and friends.

Was here on my second visit today. Mulligans is a clean restaurant with great service. I had the Italian sausage sandwich with fries. The food was great. My girlfriend agreed. She had a bison burger.

Mulligan’s interior is a one-​off: full of special woodwork, stained glass, mirrors, and brass railings pulling together everything in a rich, upscale Irish pub décor.
Service is usually top notch, even when they are swamped with customers, which is most every evening, and weekends most all open hrs.
St. Patrick’s Day offerings are well worth trying. I had their Bangers and Mash this year– very good. … Make reservations!
They have two special rooms for parties, rehearsal dinners, etc.
We have used one of them for a rehearsal dinner and were treated superbly, with the owner himself showing us the room and giving us a tour and history of many of the appointments.
High probability you will enjoy yourself here.
Take time to appreciate the interior, walk around and check out the two side rooms.
Living locally we frequent Mulligan’s throughout the year.

I chose Mulligan’s for my birthday gift meal from family.
I’ve been in the mood for their Lobster Bisque, its in a class by itself IMO. A bowl and a couple breadsticks makes a great small meal, the Lobster Bisque actually has chunks of lobster meat in it, and the Sherry sends it over the top I haven’t found any better in our area of Ohio.
Tonight we had Tony as our server. He did an excellent job of meeting our needs, and went beyond all expectations. Thank-​you Tony, We very much appreciate your caring attentiveness!
You made my birthday celebration most enjoyable. The Carrot-​cake ;-) was very good, as was everything.

Horrible service!!! Gave 1 star for the good food, but that’s it. Told 20 minute wait for a table for 2– instead waited 45 — and even then had to say something to get seated. Was a bit busy when seated, so took a bit to get our drinks– no big deal. But then waited 20 more minutes for soup, another half hour for food. Then finished eating and waited yet another half hour before our waitress even came back into the dining room… another 5 for her to come to our table to ask if we needed a box or anything else. Needless to say, won’t be returning.

I give mulligans 3 stars simply because it doesn’t matter if we go on a Tuesday at 3 o’clock in the afternoon when the place is empty or on a Saturday night during the dinner rush there service is always very slow!
However, the food is very good, they have an entire vegetarian menu which is awesome! Personally, I love the vegetarian chili and the veggie burger.
Also it’s not very kid friendly. Found this out the hard way the first time we ate here.
So overall the food is good hubby loves their burgers and they have an entire vegetarian menu but be prepared to wait!

Had the black and blue cheeseburger and Killians draught. Awesome to see Killians on draught! And they serve in a unique huge glass. Burger was great! I have no complaints about the product. Everything I consumed was awesome. However… service was extremely slow. Waited 5 minutes for someone to greet me at the bar…5 minutes to get my drink…10 minutes of my menu closed sitting on the bar before someone asked if i was ready to order… then 20 minutes for a medium rare burger and fries. And i was 1 of only 3 people at the bar. ZZZZZZZzzzzzzz

Worst bar tender ever cried because i asked for cinnamon rimer on my draft Christmas ale. This is a one stop see ya never be back

Didnt have our reservation we made 3 days ago. hmmm This place has definitely gone downhill! Went there and there were 2 guys laying on the floor in the bar area extremely drunk. Come to find out the one was a local preacher. The were obviously out of control with how they were walking and talking. Why wouldn’t the bartender cut them off? In addition, the bartender and manager let them leave to drive home. Luckily Jackson Police were there to make sure that did not happen.
Now the food. Ordered these extra large shrimp they have for an app. they came out and they were obviously freezer burnt — we told the server and some other guy brought them back and we asked for cocktail sauce and he grabbed one off of another table. Really??? I always go here for the prime rib… I ordered the large cut — It was ALL bone and fat probably 6 ounces of prime rib… They took $ 20 off of our $ 100 tab… I used to eat here weekly… I will not go back… This place needs new management.

I went with a party of seven to Mulligan’s last night and was fairly disappointed with the experience. There isn’t a waiting area, which made standing around awkward and uncomfortable, given the number of people in the restaurant. The staff was great and the atmosphere was great… but the food was so incredibly average. Three of the people in my party are vegetarian (myself included) and I was excited to try some of the meat alternatives on the menu. I ordered the «chicken breast sandwich», which was really just a frozen chicken patti made to look like a fancy sandwich. My mom got the «hot dog» which was also pretty lame and my dad got the burger which wasn’t anything to write home about either. All of our plates came with a ridiculous amount of fries.
Overall, I was just really unimpressed. We had a good time, but that’s because of the company, not the food. Not sure how the meat dishes were, but if you’re vegetarian, I would stick to the salad menu.

Great local Irish style restaurant with very good burgers! Good place for lunch or dinner with one of the best lobster bisque’s in town. A great go-​to place when it’s hard to decide where to go to eat. This place has something for everyone. Also a great place to hold an event — the library is beautiful.
