New England Bulkhead

I had some initial issues getting a quote together (I think it got taken by someone by accident but took some time to resolve) however they were able to put in a bulkhead that another company told me was not possible in space I needed it. It was scheduled quickly and they were able to put in the bulkhead over a 2 day period. One day to dig out the old one (probably just a couple hours?) and a ½ day to install the new one. They were more expensive than the other company but considering they could do the job and the other company couldn’t (said I would need a custom bulkhead) I was happy with the job. Seems to be good quality so far.

Emailed them twice using their contact form on their web site for a quote. 1.5 weeks later and no response whatsoever, not even a generic reply. This demonstrates a profound lack of respect for my time and potential business. If they are so busy they cannot reply to their own web form, they should either remove the form or hire someone and help the local economy at the same time. Their website exclaims they «just do bulkheads and do them right». I’ll never know about the second part because a company who ignores me won’t get my business, but the first half is correct because they do bulkheads and don’t respond to their own web form.

Sweden and Henry are fantastic! We just had our bulkhead doors replaced today and they are perfect! I would highly recommend them to anyone as they are well priced, friendly and a fantastic family run business!

Henry and his crew are outstanding. The are fair in pricing, they very efficient and professional. More than a thousand dollars less than the alternative and without a compromise in quality.

I found New England Bulkhead online and liked the reviews I read. After initially emailing them a request to contact me, Sweden, who turns out to be the owner’s daughter came to the house to give us an estimate, which included the senior citizen discount of 10%. I called Sweden to ask for some references and she provided three names within 20 minutes of my call. The references all had great things to say about the owner and the work he did. Then the owner, Henry Krueger, came to take a look at the job. We needed a full dig out because the bulkhead had completely pulled away from the foundation. I did not have to go chasing after them to get the job done. Henry came when he said, did a great job, was very personable to work with, and tried very hard to respect our property, landscaping, and sprinkler system. Henry and his sidekick, Mike, were terrific.
