Outback Steakhouse

Take out order was promptly ready at the designated time. Ribeye melt portion was a lot smaller than expected and the meat was pretty dry. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their entrées pretty well. The Awesome Blossom was good, spicier than I remember it being in the past. Some of the staff were a bit disgruntled. I heard one saying she wasn’t allowed a 15 minute break during her 10 hour shift.

Over the years I think Outback has been slipping, but none more than this location. I travel quite a bit for work and have been to many other Outbacks. This location is the worst (other than maybe one in Columbia, SC) I’ve ever been to. Unfortunately, this is in my hometown! It takes a lot for me to complain at a restaurant, but the ribs I was served here months ago were uneatable; full of fat. Just terrible! I haven’t been back since.
Tonight we gave it another shot and walked out. We told our server we knew what we wanted as soon as he came to our table. He said he would be right back. After 15 minutes of waiting, we left. They were NOT busy! This location needs an overhauling!

My Wife and I Love Outback Steakhouse! Today was the first time we ordered through takeout. Kristin took care of us on this visit and she was very cheerful and friendly! There aren’t too many places you can go where you walk out feeling better than when you first walked in. Kristin made this happen. She was quick with the order and made sure to get it just right for us. Even asking if I wanted Ketchup with our fries! My wife told me to make sure I get the ketchup! I would have honestly forgotten it had she of not asked. Kristin is the type of employee that makes you feel Valued as a customer. Aside from that the food has always been fantastic. And for Takeout service, our food was packed in perfectly. That Outback Burger was cooked just right. Thank You Kristin!!!

Okay so I eat Outback at home in Southern California and have eaten at this one before in Canton and was happy; however whatever was happening tonight was kind of sad. The family behind me kept getting their order messed up repeatedly! The manager and the cook came out to apologize and it seemed like every time the waiter came over something was messed up.
Then, my food came out before my appetizer. I asked the waiter and he said he would go check. The manager finally brought it out and gave me a weird look and asked if I had wanted it to come out last. I told her no. She took it off my bill and packed it to go.
Also, my lobster and filet came out and the filet was good but the lobster smelled sort of fishy at first and then when I bit into it, I tasted ammonia and it overtook my senses. I think the lobster tail was kept at an improper temp and was spoiled! Ugh!
The waiter ended up comping my sangria as well but jeez I hope I don’t get food poisoning!

So I’ve been coming to Canton for about 12 years and the other day I thought «why don’t we eat at Outback?» I’ve never tried the Canton location. And I’m sad to say that we will not be returning. I ordered their new «rib-​eye» burger and it was the thinnest piece of meat I’ve ever had on a plate and it looked like it was prepared in the depths of hell. I couldn’t eat it. I’ve attached a picture of the crustiest beef I’ve ever had and you can compare the actual photo of their food to the professional pics that Outback put on Unilocal.My wife enjoyed the salad until she discovered a hair. The sad thing is that our waitress was amazing, probably one of the best we have had. Too bad she doesn’t work somewhere like Longhorns or Taco Mac.

Outback is actually my favorite restaurant and for Christmas I got a gift card for it. I ordered my favorite combo which is french onion soup and sesame salad. Got home to enjoy it and the French onion soup was only about a quarter full. The salad was also very sparse. For a 20 dollar meal, I was extremely disappointed and am probably never going to go to this location again. I have even taken multiple pictures of the food the second I opened it as evidence and this review won’t let me add them.

I don’t usually bother to write reviews for chain places, and usually don’t get steak from a chain. But we ordered take-​out from here last night and it was VERY good. The Pork Porterhouse was well seasoned and grilled, and the French Onion soup was really good. I stayed away from steak, but will definitely revisit when thinking of take-​out.
Good on the staff as well. Did the curbside, walked out as soon as I pulled in and I was gone withing 3 – 4 minutes.

Our server at this location was great! He really did his best. But unfortunately, there was no way to overcome the short comings of the kitchen. The bloomin onion was sitting in a pool of grease. The bread was stale. The ranch dressing for the salads was rancid. My daughters Mac n cheese was so under cooked it was still crunchy. My husbands chicken was still frozen in the middle. And lastly my steak was ordered medium well and came out rare… twice. We will not be patronizing this restaurant ever again.

After a long day a the doctor’s office my husband and I decided on Outback for dinner. Which happens to be one of our favorite restaurants.
When we walked in we noticed how dark it was. Like a dungeon.
Our waitress was cheerful and nice. As was our hostess.
My husband ordered a burger well done and he received a burger that was extremely pink in the middle. Not one to complain he ate it. I ordered the blooming onion steak and it wasn’t too bad. We both ordered fries which were HORRIBLE!!!

We will definitely return to Outback again but we will never return to the Canton Outback location.

Our server was nice. The service wasn’t as streamline as service that I get from my local out back. The food was good.

I’d give it a zero, but that’s not an option!!!
Just awful! Just got back from Outback Canton, went with some friends of ours… Worst experience at an Outback ever! I would’ve complained to the manager, but couldn’t find her and we needed to leave to run some errands before the stores we were going to closed. It took so long for us to get out food, and then finally for her to come take payment, and then finally return our receipts to us… The appetizers were awful! The onion was TINY and BURNED… the Aussie Cheese Fries came out HALF their normal order size. The steaks we ordered were horrible! My husband and I both got rib eyes, ordered them medium, and they came out well done and nasty. We didn’t complain because we don’t send food back. No thank you. Were both worked in the restaurant business when we were younger, and we know what happens to food when it is sent back to the kitchen… We also didn’t complain because we weren’t looking for a free meal. When we finally got payment done and were ready to finally leave, we couldn’t find the manager anywhere. I wanted to let her know our dissatisfaction AFTER we paid so she didn’t think we were trying to get free meals. She only needed to look at the leather that was my steak though, to know that we weren’t looking for freebies!
We will NEVER come back to the Outback in Canton, ever! Hell, I may not be able to convince my husband to ever return to any Outback, anywhere!

The place wasn’t even crowded. Usually this chain is!
The sirloin steak was edible. The garlic mashed potatoes weren’t.
Nothing memorable enough to return. Seems that the only folks in here were ones celebrating birthdays.

Food is typical first rate for Outback. The service is outstanding… more so then usual. Good job.

Certainly nothing wrong with this Outback location. Not sure what other reviewers had issues with, but we had quick efficient service and good solid Outback steaks cooked perfectly. Also had the wedge salad (really good!) and steamed broccoli with the steak. Both were excellent.
We will come back here again for sure.

Slow service and food… uhmmm not so good!
