Powerhouse Gym

Pretty much don’t be a whimp the place is there to make you better people always motivating, you might not wanna have low confidence going to power house you will see a lot of things to put you to shame but that’s what you’re there for is to get better ! I played college football and I’d say this is the best pump in stark county!

Well, if ur looking for nasty attitudes and lippy cashier girls uv come to the right place. Powerhouse gym is the quintessential home of every douche bag meat head, male or female, if there ever was one! U can expect the guys to ogle every female who walks near them and the women, employed at this establishment, have a disposition that makes the worst women at the DMV seem well mannered. My fiancé refused to go back after the second visit and the 8^th hit on attempt. Forewarning, if u join this place, once ur contract is up, good luck trying to get them to stop pulling $ money out of ur acct. You will here everything from lost cancelation sheets to change of management etc etc etc. It really is a shame because the equipment is top notch. In summary, simply the worst gym due to the attitudes! I mean, they make movies making fun of places like this. Think of Ben Stiller’s gym in the movie «Dodge Ball»!

As far as gyms go this one has everything! It’s a weights first kind of gym and that is apparent as soon as you walk in. 4 squat racks, multiple sets of dumbbells up to 150, weighted curl bars, plate loaded everything, and tons of other stuff. They have plenty of cardio equipment as well. They have a smoothie bar, supplement store, conventional as well as spray tanning, and childcare.
The clientele is a mix of power lifters, bodybuilders, gym rats, and average Joe’s. If you don’t even lift or prefer a planet fitness environment then this gym isn’t for you. You will see big, strong, men and women who lift heavy things, sometimes make noise while doing so, and often slam weights around. If that bothers you then you probably don’t even lift and should consider planet fitness.
For a couple who pays a year in advance this place works out to be 20 bucks a month per person. That’s a steal considering all the amenities this place offers. They also let you do month to month of you aren’t ready to commit to the full year. All in all the best place to bend bars and pump iron in the Stark County area!

As far as gym equipment, they have everything, And I mean everything. They have a ton of treadmills and stair steppers along with other cardio equipment. The cardio equipment is secondary to all the weight lifting equipment. They have dumbells up to 150 lbs and pretty much any weight lifting machines for all muscle groups. The prices are very reasonable as well, about $ 30 for a month and no membership fees or anything unless you want a full year membership. Now for the bad… the clientele is pretty rough when you have a gym that has everything at a discount rate. There are a ton of amatuer fake-​and-​bake bodybuilders constantly sizing up each other and when they get tired of that they shamelessly hit on girls. Which some people like, but not for me. There are some super nice people in here but they are hard to come by. So if you want top of the line equipment filled with immature bodybuilders (men and women, although it is guy heavy) then this is the place for you.
