Rite Aid

I love it here! My favorite pharmacy. The pharmacists and techs are great. Kristen and Chris are awesome. They are always here to help me and answer any question I have. Lila is also great. She is so sweet and very knowledgable as well. They are all helpful and always give me their full attention. Chris is always running around the pharmacy as fast as he can to meet every customers need. Kristen will answer every question I have and even relate to what I have to say with her own personal experiences and opinions. I would never go to another pharmacy !

July 2015 Review: This Rite Aid is ok. The checkout area is a bit dirty, and the store in general is also old, yet it’s well organized, and never crowded.
So overall, good convenience, pharmacy, and drugstore for Canton, since CVS is just ok, and very small, and Walgreens is 5 minutes away (which can be good at some points too!).
March 13, 2016 Update: Shopping at the Village Shoppes? Driving through this area of Washington Street in Canton? Driving through Sharon Street in Stoughton? If this applies to anyone, this is the best place to shop most of the time. Previously, I had rated this location a 3 stars in comparison to the current rating of 4, yet this is truly the largest Rite Aid I’ve been to, ever, and has a lot of great qualities, so I decided to up it to 4. The Canton Rite Aid is far superior to the CVS across the street for a few key reasons.
No other pharmacy anywhere near Canton has this much open space. Given the size, they have a HUGE seasonal section, a plus, and lots more than some other Rite Aid stores. The greeting card section is large and is bound to have a card or two for you (I found two really good ones), and the candy section always seems to be on sale. Additionally, staff are always around and really friendly. My only complaints are (–1 star) a) the store isn’t open 24 hours like CVS across the street, and b) there is a lot of wasted, dirty space throughout the front area, where there are a lot of deserted, dirty checkout counters, that should be gotten rid of completely. Overall, good pharmacy, and the best in this section of Canton. 4 stars.

I really am not sure what the other reviewer was referencing in terms of a smell here. I have been coming here for several years to pick up prescriptions (I have switched to the CVS across the street recently, as they are ²⁴⁄₇). I have never once smelt anything bad here. I have a feeling the reviewer was mostly being hyperbolic (possibly for the sake of being humorous).
As far as the cash registers, it’s true none of them are ever in use, and the checkout is right by them at the photo center, but that’s pretty much because the place is so empty, there is hardly a need for more than one cash register, there is never more than one person (and most of the time zero) in front of you.
I am giving 4 stars, as I have always gotten great service at the pharmacy (if I call, they even know my voice, I don’t have to tell them my name).
The place is kind of oddly laid out, it’s actually too big for what’s in it. This is not a super modern pharmacy, it’s more of a small town pharmacy that has tried to keep up with the times, however the friendliness of the staff is what makes this a 4 stars place to me.
