This place is still open. 2 years ago we went there for easter. It was a buffet sryle day for them $ 25 a person… put it this way I have never been back!

My folks took me to Rolandos for«Italian Night» ~ an early bird meal(4−6pm) perhaps marketed to Senior Citizens. For only $ 7 per person we got a decent meal ~ When we first paid and sat down, we were offered our choice of tea, iced tea or coffee, which was brought to the table quickly. Rolls were brought out with a lettuce salad in Italian dressing. The salad and beverages were served in plastic, and I suppose that’s how they keep the cost down. We were then served our choice of spaghetti or penne pasta in a tomato sauce with a giant meatball in a really big(not plastic) bowl ~ enough to take home plenty of leftovers. A desert tray was brought over offering sweets like chocolate cake, chocolate pudding, carrot cake, strawberry cake, and a couple other things that didn’t catch my attention. The chocolate cake I chose tasted wonderfully homemade with a rich, creamy texture… YUM! I would have loved another cup of coffee with that delicious desert, but by then it was really crowded and the 2 or 3 waitresses were just trying to keep up. The waitresses are volunteers, strengthening my theory that this is not their«business as usual» meal, but a good healthy meal for the senior population that has supported their restaurant and bar over the years…

This should be a 1 star, but wait staff tries so hard. Their food stinks, the worst example of Italian-ish eats. Spent $ 90 for 2 adults and 4 kids, it was painful. Not recommended, unless every other place is closed, and you simply need nourishment.
