I am a frequent customer of this store, the people know me by sight. Walked in today, Labor Day, not a familiar face in sight. I asked to have a house key recut because it did not work in the lock. The first clerk, obviously inexperienced cut a key that did not work either. Went back second time clerk number two said he had never cut a key, but cut one anyway then instead of just exchanging the key started playing with the register with customers lined up waiting. Finally told me I owed .52 cents and argued that that was the price. MY BEST ADVICE TO YOU CLOSE THE STORE IF IF YOU DONT HAVE HELP!!!

Sears hardware used to be my go to place. They were the closest to me and their staff used to be so knowledgeable that they could help you conquer any home issue that I had. Al Drone, Jim Yard, Gail Zickafoose … what great people!
Most of those people are gone now. Today I went in seeking help getting the right chain for my chainsaw. Did you hear jenna man who helped me kept contradicting himself and after helping me for about five mins said «hey buddy I’m sorry but my shifts over I gotta go. They hate when we check out page. So I really need to go sorry good luck.» and then left.
