Subway

Like another reviewer said, is a Subway, it’s pretty standard. For those who couldn’t find it, it’s literally right beside the ingles parking lot with a road dividing them, on the left if you’re coming from the interstate. I don’t really think it’s fair to judge a restaurant because you can’t find it. It’s not 5 star dining, but I’ve been to a hundred Subways and this one has always been great, hasn’t let me down yet. The Boar’s Head sandwiches at ingles are good too, but they don’t have some of the choices subway has like grilled chicken, meatballs or steak. As for the cleanliness, again it’s a subway, they have a huge turnover with staff so the employees that didn’t clean up last week might have been replaced this week, or vice versa. You knew you were getting in to a minimum wage work ethic when you saw the «Subway» sign. Considering, I think it’s pretty good, will continue going every other week or so.

Sub par sandwich shop. Some employees were alright others not so much. Find anywhere else to eat but here.

Sometimes I read reviews and get thoroughly annoyed. A Subway, is a Subway, is a Subway… I look at this as you know what you’re getting when you go into ANY Subway. My thoughts are that if you go to 1 or 2 stars of any fast food establishment, it means you’ve gotten a wrong order or rude service. To read that two of three reviews prior to mine gave 1 star because they couldn’t find it… Give me a break! Just like them, I was driving through and don’t live in the area. I likely saw the same sign as they did (.6 or .8 off the interstate, I don’t recall). The fact they couldn’t find it, but took the time to complain on Unilocal is ludicrous. It’s on the left. There is a sign… no giant spotlight, so maybe that was an issue. As for the dirtiness… I didn’t have that issue while there.
The bathrooms were clean and I didn’t feel any issue in the dining area. My experience was better than a 3/​average, for a few reasons…

And the kid working the food bar was engaging (for a Subway)…it wasn’t too much and wasn’t to little.
I’ll stop again if the chance/​situation comes up again…

Well, we couldn’t find it, exiting from I-​40, and tooling down, back and down again. It was 6:30pm, so not too late, but if Subway was there, we just could not find it.
Ended up at the Ingles Market along the road, and had a FANTASTIC subway style sandwich at their Boar’s Head meat area — MUCH better than Subway would have been… and a nice seating area as well.
So — stop at Ingles for your subway sandwich at this exit. Don’t know if the Subway is even around.

Could not find the subway. We had a marvelous sub sandwich at Ingles grocery with Boars Head roast beef.

Dirtiest Subway I’ve ever been to. Trash all over the floor, like not little trash, but like cups and wrappers everywhere. Food too all over the floor. Every single table was dirty. Just nasty.
