I think the people at this Home Depot are on the ball. Whenever I need to find stuff here, I find it quickly because they use logic to put stuff where it needs to be and unlike competitors who create a scavenger hunt for people to look for stuff. I really enjoy the program they created to hire more US military right after their tour of duty is done. As an American loving man, I can not ask for anything better. I am honored to do my business here. Thank you for taking care of OUR brave men and women Home Depot. Many companies say they are PROUD to support the military, Home Depot took that and created programs to make sure our brave come home and get opportunities or at least the education to help bring the heroic back to civillian life, gotta respect that times a million! I feel that the staff is a quality squad and sometimes I usually just stop in for a hot dog or a sausage right up at the exits. The best food secret in America is the sausage stands right in front of the Depot… yeah, I will take two and a Soda, thank yoou soooo much!

The staff in rentals is great to work with. We have rented a truck to haul a tree from Ann Arbor back to Belleville, and we have rented a carpet cleaner. They are knowledgeable, give pointers, and just listening to them with other customers, they really know their equipment. The folks in plumbing are also helpful. I have done several small PVC jobs at home, and they always take good care of me, and will usually cut my PVC to the correct size, even though it doesn’t appear to be required. They’ve also given me solid pointers on using two step compound and thread tape, which helped me do a much better job than I would have on my own.

Will do in a pinch, but often out of stock, and the aisles are often disheveled. eg, the plumbing supply parts are often in the wrong bin, and if you’re not cross-checking the part numbers to the box, you’ll end up with the wrong part. Store seems to overruse the automated checkout lines.

Self checkout cashier not pleasant 12÷6÷14 @ 1:25pm. Greeter and garden center personal were nice and helpful. Out of stock on the item we came in for

I have been to this store more times than I’d like to admit. I’ve had both good and bad experiences. I have had a couple of very good experiences with a gal in the lawn and garden area by the name of Maryann I believe. She sold me my lawn tractor and on a separate trip my weed wacker. She was very knowledgeable and very helpful. She is truly an asset to Home Depot and if you need any lawn or garden equipment you should ask for her!!!

Home Depot is no longer renting trucks unless you purchase something large enough to justify the truck rental(and then you still have to pay for the rental). I was told that this is not a policy change, but had previously rented a truck more then once. Regardless, they aren’t renting trucks anymore unless you buy something. Either don’t waste your time expecting to rent a truck at Home Depot or buy something and return it when you bring the truck back.

I have to totally agree with Liz. They are always well stocked, from bug spray to door knobs. I love going there and getting great advise on home improvement projects. Scott in Painting dept, is great help and experienced in his field. He told me how to go about refinishing my cabinets. Whether it’s co-workers, or customers, everyone talks to each other nicely and is very welcoming. one of the best and friendliest Home depots I have seen

This place always has the odds and ends we need ready in stock. The layout is logical and items are well marked to find what you need on your own as a general rule. You can also find people to help you if necessary pretty easily. It is generally a quick stop for us which is unusual for a home improvement store. We were in here the other night after our towel rack was accidentally destroyed. We easily found an exact replacement, mind you we had bought the original here over six years back. It was on sale to boot, yay! They also had individual parts as an option, which is helpful and would have been cheaper if ours had not been totally annihilated. We also spied some very cheap lightbulbs and pine sol, so we took the opportunity to stock up. No wait for a checkout and the woman who rang us up was very pleasant. I think the whole trip took less than ten minutes. Happy.
