I visit this location at least once a month. The employees are always helpful and friendly and the store is neat and organized. I especially like the 1/2 off special deal on various color tags. I have never been sorry that I stopped by there to shop and have never left empty-handed. It's a definite 5 rating from me!

It is great that there are places like the salvation army to help people in need. I have a family of 4 and a son w special needs so to say we live on a tight budget is an understatement. I was there recently and saw a couch and loveseat combo(non reclining, nothing special about it) that would be perfect however it was $ 150. That price wouldn’t have been so bad but both pieces had lots of animal hair on them and would need to be cleaned thoroughly before use. Again I was O. K with this. I spoke w a manager and simply asked if the price could be lowered slightly which in itself takes pride swallowing to do at a thrift store… still keeping the price decent at 100 dollars and was told that the most they could do is take off 20 dollars bc it’s a new item. They paid nothing for this they don’t help load it which is perfectly fine but I do think that when a household furniture item is covered in animal hair a DECENT discount can and should be applied especially since many stores won’t even sell items unless they’ve been cleaned which this one CLEARLY had not been. Until now this store has been a huge help since we recently moved here but apparently now they are all about making as much money as possible and not truly helping which is sad.

This store used to be a 5-star, EASILY. I would go all the time and leave with bag-loads of awesome deals! Last time I bought things here, however, I noticed a sky-rocket in their prices. I got one bag of finds for the price I’d usually pay for four times as much! This week I went and left empty-handed. I can’t say how disappointed I am. People donate their things here as an alternative to throwing it away, why the high prices? To get an idea of how bad the prices are now… it used to be that all mugs/cups were about 25 cents. The last time I was there, they were many marked 1.99! How about a really cute dutch oven that I found that was priced 20 bucks. TWENTY! Nothing at Salvation Army should cost that much money. Any article of clothing you would find used to be no higher than 5 dollars. Most were 2.99, 3.99…now all of a sudden you can’t find a dress for less than 10 bucks. And we aren’t talking about a nice, gently used, cute vintage dress. I’m talking about grandma’s moo-moo that wouldn’t look good if you made every effort at alternating it. It used to be that a «good find» was not really priced different from a not so good one. Now all of a sudden if I actually find something cute I have to pay just about the same amount of money that I would for a NEW article at sale price. PCHYA! I really would like to be able to start going here again. I hope that get over this«competitive pricing» bull-crap and start pricing reasonably once more. I know Salvation Army is «non-profit» but there are people all over Canton, I’m sure, that come here because they can’t afford anywhere else… where does that leave them? Salvation Army, why have you forsaken me???

I love this location because it is huge and there is quite a bit of selection. However, I have noticed over the past few months that the prices here have gone way up. Blouse and shirts used to be anywhere from 1.99−3.99 are now 4.99−9.99. The same with dresses they used to be anywhere from 3.99−7.99 and now they are 7.99+ for most dresses. Not saying that it’s a lot but when I can go to the mall when my favorite store is having a sale and get a brand new blouse for less then what I’d pay here(except on ½ off Wednesday’s) nit sometimes makes me think twice about purchasing some items here. overall it is a huge store with lots to chose from, but the deals aren’t super great unless you go on Wednesday ½ price day.

This is my favorite Salvation Army. They have a HUGE selection! Wednesdays are ½ day for almost all color tags. I have found really nice name brand clothes and shoes here including Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Anne Klein, Old Navy, and Gap. They also have quite a selection of furniture, books, electronics, and kitchen materials. There is so much to look at in this store — come prepared to spend some time there!

I love this Salvation Army. I’ve found a lot of good deals at this place. My wife and I found a really nice TV stand there for about a quarter of the price that you could get it at Target. My wife loves vintage objects and has several find from there. I’ve also found several different articles of clothing. This is the largest Salvation Army/Goodwill/Thrift Shop that we have in the area as far as I know. If you go on Wednesdays, almost everything there is half off. The service has been hit and miss but for the most part, it’s been pretty good. I’m giving it 5 stars because I think this is as good as it gets for a place like this.
