After a rash of break-​ins in my neighborhood where the perps smashed through windows to get inside the home, my husband and I decided to make our new home safer. We found out about a product we wanted installed: a clear protective film that, when applied correctly to glass, is completely invisible and makes it nearly impossible to smash through. In YouTube videos you can see examples of this product at work during riots, when people mob a store front with crowbars and pipes. Much like a car windshield, the glass breaks but does not come down– thus preventing another entry via that potential opening.
We looked on-​line and did a lot of research. This company is one of the only companies that installs this product professionally. We gave them a call, got a quote, and had them come out. The installer drive all the way to my home in Brookhaven from his office in Canton, in the rain. He put this film on all of our downstairs windows at a VERY REASONABLE price. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, friendly, and seemed very trustworthy. He worked quickly, efficiently, and was done in a very timely manner.
I feel safer already, knowing that no one can walk up to my house, smash one of my windows, and climb into my home. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone looking to beef up their home security without going to extremes (like bars on the windows or digging a moat). If, at some point in the future, people start climbing homes like Spider Man to smash through second-​story windows, I will not hesitate to call them back.
