You can blame this review on the bald guy who works at the desk usually, who wouldn’t even give me his name. I came here trying to pawn my Xbox one and I could feel the negativity coming from this guy as soon as he talked to me. He told me my Xbox is broken because he couldn’t play a game right away. I told him you have to download every game onto it, before you can play it, which all Xbox one users should know. He insisted that I was lying and that he was right, even after I showed him many forums online saying that you have to download a game before you want to play it. I even showed him videos and the Xbox website, proving that I was right. It seems that he is too close minded, and only believes what he wants to believe. Nonetheless he accepted it.
(TWO WEEKS LATER)
I came back to pick it up and asked if I could set it up to make sure it still works. He took it personal and gave me attitude. He also LOST one of my video games for a fact and then tells me I never brought one in and that I’m a liar. Even though the cd was missing from the case when I came to pick it up. I tell him that I know for a fact I brought it in, because he had told me on the phone two weeks ago that if I bring a video game with my Xbox he can do it for $ 100. He then proceeded to cuss me out and told me to get out. His loss; I’m never coming here again and I can guarantee that none of my friends and family will either. Abe’s pawn shop is definitely the place to go. Never had any problems with them, and they always try to help you out and understand you, unlike this place (person). It’s sad that one person can bring a business down.

Simply the best! Friendly, professional, honest and always willing to help you out when you need it most. I stumbled across this business a few years back, after having a bad experience at another local pawn shop in Newhall… Arthur is so down to earth and you always feel welcome when you enter his shop, but most of all he really is knowledgeable on stuff that you bring in. They have a great layout of items for sale. If you’re looking for a loan or items to sell or buy, don’t bother going anywhere else…

Have used them a number of times when I get short of cash. They are great to deal with and offered much more cash for my items which I only pawned, not sold. I retrieved them at the end of my four months. Abe’s Pawn offered me about half as much even though I have used them a number of times. They also treat you much better here. Make sure you have your slips when retrieving your items or they charge $ 10 extra for each one you are missing. Also, follow the rules so you dont lose your items. This hasn’t happened to me but you need to remember that pawn shops work that way.
