Horrible service; I signed up for a contract, fully pre-paid for 2 years. After several months of trying to upload files and getting constant errors, I started calling customer support. The support staff was only 9 – 5 central time and would always tell me they would fix the problem. The problem would be fixed for a day or two and then recur. I even had a customer service rep tell me «oh, that server has a lot of problems» yet not offer to switch me to a new server or just do what needed to be done to fix the connection problems permanently. After several days and another call, I asked to be switched to a new server. They gave me new login information for a different server but told me that I would have to migrate the data to the new server… that means download the backed up files and then upload them again to the new server. I complained that this would take forever on my slow internet connection and it would be easy for IIC Internet to migrate the data on their end. I was told they would migrate the data. Days later, nothing had been migrated. I called again and was told it would be done; days later, a portion of the data was migrated. I called again and was told they do not migrate data and I would have to download the files and upload them to the new server, BUT I COULDN’T DOTHISBECAUSEOFTHECONSTANTCONNECTIONPROBLEMSTOTHEOLDSERVER. At that point, I sacrificed my pre-paid subscription, got Dropbox, and never looked back. Avoid this company at all costs; the prices are too good to be true.

WARNING = Stay away! Awful customer service. They answer the phone and they say that they will fix the problem. After the sixth call they fix it from constant calling. They have great prices but you pay with frustration. I have to be told by customers that my website is down. They don’t alert you when your domain is expiring or when your subscription has to be paid. You find out by constantly checking or being alerted from customers that your website is down. I am a cameraman and tell customers to look at my website. I can’t tell you how many times they email me back and tell me that the site is not working. I wonder how much business I have lost from people just moving on to the next person. This is one of the most frustrating thing about IIC internet. They have some very large accounts so the little guy like me and other friends fall through the cracks. After 8 years of being with them I finally had it. I called go daddy with 24⁄7 support that guarantees 99% up time. I wish I would have fired them 5 years ago. I would not recommend iic internet to anyone!
