Great food! Love the tacos! My girlfriend and I go there when we want Mexican food and don’t want to drive to Newhall for el pariente… it’s a pretty small restaurant and market at the same time… give it a try!

They are right down the street from us and have rescued us from a «what should we do about dinner» dilemma many a time. We are thankful for this little taco stand/convenience store. My in-laws who adore little hole-in-the-wall Mexican joints really like this place, too. :). Basically, we appreciate it for what it is.

It’s a pretty cute and clean dinky dinky little store. It’s like a 7 – 11 convenience store with Mexican food tacos and grocery store. They close till midnight on the weekends and the owners have been there over 7 years. Pretty great place and clean public restroom.

We don’t live far from this place and I was hoping to find a local food place. I read Unilocal reviews and I was expecting big, delicious, cheap burritos. I ordered a pastor burrito. It wasn’t cheap and it wasn’t good either. I love authentic, hole in the wall places but this isn’t the place.

I’ve been here a few times with a classmate from auto class and he told me to try the burritos here so i did. All I got to say is the burritos are bomb and fill you up. Comes with chips and a can of soda. This is the spot to grab a burrito since my class is close by.

I walk in and am immediately overwhelmed with the smell of Pine Sol or Fabuloso. I love Mexicans but I hate their favorite cleaning solution. I resist the urge to gag and hurry up and order. I try a little salsa verde as I wait. «Boy, that’s horrible.» I try the guacamole salsa. «Geez, that’s worse.» I get my order and hustle outside for some olfactory relief. The carne asada was very good. Lots of crispy little chunks. The al pastor was decent but the smell was terrible, the salsas were not to be eaten and they didn’t have aguas frescas. Not really worth the effort.

I am a white boy and came here because school is right there and love to try new places. This is an authentic Mexican market that has bomb food as well. It has all kinds of meat and the food they cook is so bomb. Small menu but the flavor is unbelievable in the burritos also super cheat and comes with a drink for about 5 dollars. Cheap and big burritos with chips. Must go!

For a little run down looking place in pretty much a deserted part of Sierra Hwy, Mi Tierra has some great burritos! Go with the Pastor burrito with everything and you will not be disappointed. Perfectly seasoned and cooked Pastor with all the standard burrito fillings. $ 5 and it includes a soda. Win!
