I am German and was looking forward to some good German food. I ordered the Reuben with Sauerkraut and Kartoffelsalat. The Kartoffelsalat was not even close to a German version of a Kartoffelsalat. It was some hot square cut pieces of potato and a seasoning which has nothing to do with Kartoffelsalat. Dear cook of the Euro Kafe there are plenty of recipes on the Net, just look them up. A simple Kartoffelsalat is made of oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and onions. It is served cold. The Sauerkraut on the Reuben was not existent! Instead it came with a sauce which I found totally inappropriate for a Reuben. Btw the correct name of the German pasta on your menu is Spätzle NOT Spätzel.

This is one of our favorite places in Cape Canaveral. It’s in a small hidden away place but it is a gem. Chef Mark makes fantastic German food. My husband also has asked for a couple of special requests because of dietary reasons and chef mark never disappoints. If you want great German food this is the place to go.

This is my favorite place for German food and Mark’s homemade soups are the best. The portions are generous and going there is like going into the German gasthauses we frequented when living there.

Absolutely love this place! Friendly faces and great service. This spot nails the food head on. Love the pierogis, they are a must have. We’ve tried the Hungarian goulash, Red Baron Reuben, jäger schnitzel and the bratwurst so far. All have been phenomenal! We will continue coming here.

I should know better: stay home and cook myself. I ordered the sauerbraten. The Spätzle were reaaaally good, the«SWEET and sour» braten was not. The red cabbage was NOT seasoned correctly. I have eaten at restaurants all over Germany and Austria, never have there been cloves in red cabbage eeeewwwwww. My son’s schnitzel was bland and pale, plain breadcrumbs does not make a Wiener schnitzel. Oh and coleslaw has a mayo base people, don’t offer cabbage salad as coleslaw! I really hoped the Schwarzwälder Kirsch Torte I doggie bagged was worth it. UPDATE: It was tasty then I found a blonde hair in the whipped cream.

Do not come here if you need to be right in and out, you need patience for excellent food. It really is worth the wait! Potato pancakes are fantastic, wursts are fantastic, schnitzel is fantastic… you can’t go wrong here. And you must save room for dessert! The éclair pie is amazing but so are the mousse drops and the cake. If you have a big party, sit in the Grandma room!

Euro Kafe Etcetera has a small tent sign boasting«Best German Food» is very close to the truth. The potato pancakes were the absolute best and the rest of the food was tender and delicious. I had the schnitzel with spaetzle. The sauce was savory and not overwhelming. The choice of high quality German beer added nicely to the experience. The difficulty is finding the restaurant. I would not have seen the place if I had not bicycled by there earlier. Do not be put off by the exterior. Once inside, look at some of the displays of antiques. There is a small private dining room with more memorabilia. Also, there is an exhibit of art on the wall from a local artist.

This place is consistently wonderful! The service, atmosphere, and food feel like I’m in a German home. The food is fantastic! Everything is made fresh– you can hear them pounding the schnitzel in the kitchen! The pretzel, potato pancakes, spaetzle, schnitzel, stroganoff, pierogi, wurst… All amazing. Every time I go here I want to order the whole menu!

Everything about this place is GREAT! The schnitzel is made while you wait, everything is fresh and they have a great selection of German beers as well. Sure it’s small, but that is on purpose… Smaller restaurants are to give better service and gives them the ability to give YOU, the customer, freshly made DELICIOUS foods at a reasonable price. The staff was phenomenal, friendly, knowledgable and attentive; everything you could want from a wait staff. They also have Oma’s dining room for parties of 6+, which I wish I lived closer to enjoy.

This place is just authentic. Do not come with the expectation that you’re walking into an American reproduction of european food. This is a simple place serving the same simple yet amazing dishes you would get right at home. If this place were in soho you’d have to be famous to get a reservation. Service was phenomenal. Felt like being at home. I had the sampler, german potato salad and sauerkraut. I also had the best crème brûlée(served warm the way I prefer it) and it was so good I got another one haha!

We enjoyed a delightful evening of delicious food and great service. We shared the cabbage rolls, pirogies, potato pancakes, spaetzle, and stroganoff. Each was homemade and had its own flavor. Even though we were full and satisfied, we topped dinner off with sweet homemade carrot cake and German chocolate cake.

Pretty awesome place. Small, great service and authentic food that is very fresh. You can taste the quality and freshness in every bite. Very authentic menu. They have a back room for larger groups that feels like you are in their dining room at their family home! Definite go to place!

A very nice little German restaurant in Cape Canaveral. We stopped by for lunch after hearing from many friends on how much the enjoyed it. The food was very good, the service was friendly. The atmosphere and dirt parking lot will keep it from being 5 stars, as well as the weak iced tea. A ten buck Reuben is a bit pricey as well. For $ 10 I want a REALLY stacked sandwich. But it tasted great. It’s a great find… an offbeat little place with authentic German fare. Absolutely will eat here again.

We came tonight for a family dinner with my Husband, his Cousin and Cousin’s wife plus their 5yr old son and 2yr old daughter. The dining room was decorated with family pictures covering the walls, a cuckoo clock, curio cabinet filled with beer steins… it was like having dinner at a relatives house. Everything was scrumptious and the owner Mark is super friendly and showed us pictures of his grandbaby. :-) We’ll be back, we were pleased with every moment we experienced.

Man, did we luck onto this place! Here for Space Coast marathon we sought out a place for dinner. With the BBQ joint we wanted to try closed for Thanksgiving we ended up here… yay! The place is very, very small with maybe just 8 tables. When we arrived we were the only ones so a little leery. However, we were warmly greeted and seated. The menu is simple but has all the basics. I ordered the Schnitzel which was pounded and cooked fresh(I could hear the meat being pounded flat!). It was cooked wonderfully but needed more salt. My entire family enjoyed their meal. The service was some of the best I’d ever received. Our server was very sweet and the owner/chef even came out and chatted. Not in a fancy, high brow way but in the way that makes you feel like family. I think I prefer that, don’t you? Anyway, the slight tack of flavor in the food does not bring this restaurant down to a four star, I think the service more than makes up for any lacking, which was, after all, minor. Desserts were excellent too– we shared a cream pastry dessert than was wonderful. This lovely dinner helped me to have a great race the next morning to boot!

First thing to hit you is the tantalizing aromas as you enter this very small place. With everything made in house, we did not have a single item the was bad. Starting with the potato pancakes with sour cream and applesauce on the side then the Hungarian Goulash and the Paprika Schnitzel for our meals. Both came with two sides for huge portions. Probably the best German restaurant I have eaten at in a very long time. Staff was very friendly, the Chef came out to greet diners as their meals ended. Oh, and don’t forget their desserts.
