Baristas

I visit this location almost as often as the cape parkway location. Unfortunately it’s in less than 4 hour gaps so Unilocal doesn’t let me check in at both. The coffees are amazing. I’m partial to the caramel macchiatos. However the baristas will make just about any drink you want. They even create their own signature coffees. The prices are amazing and the service is always top notch.

We were visiting the area from Boston and was looking for some coffee (other than gas station and McCafe.). We saw a dunkin donuts going south on Del Prado and came upon Baristas. Great eye-​catching design and signage. Good selection of coffee beverages (we had a medium iced and a large hot latte for $ 8ish.) Coffee taste was just as good as Starbucks and less expensive. Best part was the lovely lady barista wearing pretty lingerie (and flip flops.) Colorful hair, nail, makeup, piercing, tats were part of the eye candy package. Great concept for this community. Hope it does well.

Have been meaning to try it for a while. There is a second location at 403 Cape Coral Pkwy as well. It’s a little tricky if you’re heading north on Del Prado, because you’ll have to pass it and make a u-​turn, but it’s a bright red building and very easy to see. They have loads of hot and cold drinks, some look great if you really need an energy boost. I tried the pumpkin spice latte (note that it’s February and they still have one!) it was pretty good and service was quick and the barista was friendly. Since it’s SWFL, you don’t think too much about seeing folks in bikini tops and shorts, but I had no idea that was what the baristas wore until I pulled up. If it brings them more business and separates them from competitors, awesome! It’s great coffee and the price is on par with Dunkin Donuts and maybe cheaper than Starbucks. Worth a try!
