Didn’t even want to give one star. Went there based on the reviews. The slob behind the counter I think thought he was being overworked. I wanted the gyro and he told me it would be 45 min since he just had another lady order before me. Oh, okay then. I’ll take the Italian. When asked to Iliad the bathroom I was told to go out the back door and use the 3rd bush on the left. Really? You think you’re funny? Grabbed me a fountain soda and the ice wouldn’t come out of machine. Was told that if there’s no ice coming out its out of ice. Really genius? The sub sucked. Bread mediocre. Loaded with mayo on an Italian sub? Gross. And the freakin ham! Omg the ham! If I wanted a ham sandwich I would have ordered a freakin ham and cheese! But the Dick behind the counter is what made me lose my appetite. Sandwich went in the garbage. $ 15 wasted. Save your $$ and head down the street to Jimmy Johns and order the #9. You won’t be disappointed!

Best subs in Cape Coral since 1992! Big subs, best gyros this side of FMB. Huge Chef and Greek Salads. Homemade meatballs, anti pasta, pasta salad, macaroni and potato salads, chicken, tuna and seafood salads, deviled eggs, egg salad. Huge selection of chips! Fun atmosphere! Friendly staff! Great local business. Try it once, you will be hooked!

Huge subs! Really good, everything is always fresh. I can’t imagine anyone finishing a sub on their own.

Here is my 2 cents on the food and chit chat. The food… If you have a hankering for a REAL sandwich that fills the carnivore inside YOU must eat here. The Italian, Meatball & cheese, or the hot roast beef & cheese. If you are frugal person for a 7 bucks 7 inch sandwich this is the place. FORGET _ubway,_rby or _immy _ohn. You get 2 inches thick of meat on a fresh roll with whatever fixins you need. BUT if just throw money away and are in a hurry go to those nasty chain places if you must. Also try the anti-pasta …meat, a bit of peppers, small black olives. NO veggies, MEAT. I will admit you need to call ahead or be patient when waiting for this tummy delight. But it is ohhh so worth the wait. All fresh all good. It is in a small divey place. In the corner of a strip mall. Worth the drive from any place in The Coma.(Cape Coral)…Except it is so worth.

I have been to many places in the cape for sandwiches. This is hands down my favorite. The portions are huge, prices are low, and their bread is off the chain. The owners are very friendly and personable as well. On top of all of this, their gyros are amazing. Be sure to get a side of antipasto as well!

We just moved to the Cape yesterday and asked our neighbor to suggest a great sandwich place and englund’s is a home run. Fresh bread, piles of fresh meat sliced while you wait sandwiches custom made. Friendly funny staff.

Inexpensive! What a deal! $ 8 – 10 for a sandwich that is probably as big as two Subway foot longs! They’re huge! The owner slices all the meat right there. Make sure you request a sauce, I forgot to, and my sandwiches were a little dry. But that’s what makes a good fresh sandwich, it’s not dripping with sauce unless you want it that way. Small place with maybe two tables and more chips selection than seating; it’s clearly a hidden spot the locals go to!

Love this place always have a hard time deciding between the roast beef or block buster. Price is more then fair. It is an older building that tends to give it a dirty appearance but they are always cleaning, slicers are cleaned after every sandwich.

This is by far the best sandwich or sub shop in Lee county. Very friendly people, very generous on the amount of meat and extras you would like on your sandwich. Nice home town feeling of a sub place.

Really a pretty good sub shop. Content is good but the bread sucks. I have been going to public’s to have my sub’s custom made with what I want on to it. I was on there once and I asked for cheese steak and all the could offer was roast beef. Evey body knows Philly Cheese steaks are made out of thinly shaved Ribeye steaks. Except edlunds. sub bread should have crunch and texture. Edlunds tastes like the airy mess called Cuban bread hollowness with no texture that. a Sub is pretty good the bread is low class and publicx has far better bread than they do.

The place looked a little run down, so I would have passed it up if other Unilocal users had not recommended it. I had the Super Italian sub with everything on it. It was the best sub that I have had in a long time. And the sub was big enough for three people to share… for $ 10. Loved it.

Honestly, I almost walked out but am so glad that I did not. These subs were delicious and I will be back. We ordered four full-size subs; two turkeys, an American and an Italian. Godzilla could not eat one; ordering a half is plenty big. We took them home and sampled each; They were all great. Freshly sliced meats and cheeses and fresh delicious bread. The biggest downside is the place doesn’t look clean. I mean, I think it is, it just does not look like it. Everything is wiped down, the floor is well swept, everything is organized, and the slicers are clean. But, the floors and walls look old and dirty; maybe they just can’t be cleaned better. But man, the sandwich

Subs are huge. Taste great. Floor could use some cleaning. But hey they aren’t preparing your food in the floor. Everything else looks clean. Chip rack was stocked. Drink coolers were too. Will go back.

I wasn’t sure how to rate this place because my experience was really odd. It sits in a strip mall that is filled with rundown looking storefronts and that unkept-unclean look carried into this sub shop. This was by far the filthiest restaurant I have ever been into! The floors look like they have never been mopped EVER, the glass on the cold-cut case was covered in fingerprints, that same case was leaking and that liquid was being caught by a pile of mold covered white cloths. There were 2 soft drink coolers that may have had 10 bottles of soda in them combined, and the soda bottles that were in this cooler were missing labels and looked like they had been in the sun for sometime. Just as I turned to walk out the door in horror I caught a glimpse of a sandwich that was being eaten at one of the tables by another patron, it looked delicious. The patron must of recognized the horrified look on my face and he said«it’s better than it looks I promise». I asked him what he recommended and he told me always gets a Blockbuster, so against everything sanitary within me, I went ahead and ordered the sandwich. The sandwich turned out to be delicious, it had tons of fresh sliced meat on what seemed to be fresh baked bread. I took my sub back to my office to eat it, I could not bear to eat in the restaurant itself. I was about halfway finished with this gigantic sub when the thought of that floor came back through my mind again, which caused me to throw away more then half of the sandwich. With a little elbow grease and a few hundred gallons of cleaning products, this place could be great. As it sits right now it is by FAR the grossest place I’ve ever eaten.

Whenever we are in the neighborhood we like to stop in to order a couple subs. They only use Thumanns cold cuts and cheeses. Their subs are great and the prices are good. You can tell a good deli when there are always people waiting to place an order! We have been going here for several years and have never been disappointed, food is always fresh. Most of the time both brother’s(Owners) are there and a very nice young lady that fixes your sub and gives it to you with a smile. Both brothers will chat happily with you about the news topic of the day as they make your sub. You can eat there or take it to go… they also have many different salads to choose from along with fountain soda or bottled or in the can.

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star!!! I went here to try the Gyro and first of all the place is very dirty and the 2 men working in there were unpleasant and didn’t even reply after I said thank you(They seemed racist-very uncomfortable vibe) When I get to work to try my food the gyro meat was spoiled and wreaked of freezer burn and wasn’t even warm. The deli meats they have are of poor quality… Don’t waste your time going here!!!

I’m new to town, saw this place while driving by & decided to stop in. Family owned, fresh sliced meats & cheese, fresh topping. You definitely get a big bang for your buck. You pay about what you would at a chain, but more than twice the quality & quantity. Definitely will be going back :)
