Really sad to write this. I called late — before they closed — hoping they would let me place an order for pickup. I thought they said it was ok, I started to order, but then the line went dead. I called back and said I thought the call dropped and all they said was no — and hung up. It would have been ok if it was too late, I would have been understanding. I’m not one to argue so I don’t see a point in calling back a third time and making a complaint. The service and behavior of whoever answered the phone was unacceptable and impolite. It also lists online they are open until 9 which is not true.

Only one of two Thai restaurants in Cape Girardeau. Small, family atmosphere, family owned. This place has been here for several years now. All Thai people doing the cooking. It’s a less expensive version of upscale«Saffron» restaurant in town. Offerings are the usual suspects, Pad Thai, Penang Curry, Tom Yam soup etc. the quality is good without being stuffy. Close to the University and the prices are in line with the students. Go to place for our family.

Food is great. Best Thai food I’ve had. The service is awful, the guy serving(owner) is rude and asks customers to eat fast if they are closing soon. I go there for the food.

I heard about this restaurant from a local. Love this place. The food is great and service is excellent. The tom-yum fried rice with shrimp and the pad dishes are some of the best I’ve had. And that’s in comparison to all the Thai places I’ve been to up and down the west coast.

I love the food. Penang curry is my favorite. Perfect amount of meat and curry. I’ve had the curry puffs too. They are good though m not a fan myself. I do feel portions are little smaller than what I’ve had at other Thai restaurants. Rest everything is fine. Definitely Visit if your looking for good food. The taste & quality is the same A reason I love family owned places.

Love, love, love Thai food and if this is the place I have to get it in Cape then I can deal with that. Basic, but passable and hits the spot.

The restaurant is small cute and clean. One server, but he really hustles. The Coconut bubble tea is awesome and worth the trip. Menu is small, and sadly no chicken satay. The curry puff appetizer was amazing. Flaky, fresh, and just the right amount of curry. Now that is where the disappointment starts. Do not expect any alterations for food allergies. They will only serve the food prepared the way they prepare it. Their excuses ranged from the sauces are premixed(well just skip the sauce) to other customers say it is not good without the sauce so we do not make it that way. Well that is the way I like it and I promise I will not complain and I will pay for it. I have been forewarned that another customer complained they did not like it they way I like it. My companion got the dish with the sauce and hated it. Wished the sauce was not there. I went with the chicken teriyaki which I was disappointed to have to order. It was a rubbery chicken breast with no flavor. Neither of us could eat our meal. Waste of money. Will not be back except maybe for a takeout tea. A place that cooks fresh should be able to alter the recipes for allergies, but they would not. This begs the question are they really cooking fresh or relying on prepackaged or are they just not customer oriented? Hd a chance to win a huge thai food fan as a customer, instead lost one. Will continue to get my Thai at Thai D in Marion. They can do vegan, gluten free, fish free, or whatever you need.

The food is ok here, but the man running the business is rude and unfriendly. he seems to think that he is doing customers a favor by taking their money. it is sad that his personality and attitude ruin what should be a very nice experience. The reason this place is never crowded is that the management doesn’t seem to want customers.

Café n’ Me is awesome! Great service and the owner is so friendly! I love going there and getting bubble tea. Their pad thai and panang curry are really really really good dishes here! Great for dates with my wife as well as casual place to hang with friends and eat super good food.

This food is phenomenal. Fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The owner is super friendly and does a great job keeping everyone happy during the lunch rush. Portion sizes are big too. I usually order the pad Thai with vegetables and the spice kicked up. Spring rolls are wonderful, and a friend always orders the pineapple fried rice and says its divine! Highly recommend for thai cuisine!

I personally know the owners and colds of the place. Wonderful people and their food quality is consistently delicious. Highly recommend the curry puffs and chicken on a bed for apps and the catfish and black pepper garlic green bean for main dishes.

I’m super happy they have boba(bubble tea) and lots of flavors and slushes to choose from. The food was fresh. Not the best Thai food, but adequate. I had Crisp Tofu and the Shrimp Salad. The flavor was mild, not like the bold Thai flavors I’m used to. Prices are reasonable.

I love this place, it’s wonderful and the Thai dishes are delicious. They have a great selection of food and bubble tea. I recommend trying the Thai fried rice or the phở. And be sure to grab a bubble tea as well.

We absolutely love Thai food, so we were excited to see Cape had a Thai restaurant. The restaurant was clean and cozy and decorated with the posters of Thailand, which tends to be a theme with small town hole-in-the-wall ethnic restaurants. Even though this restaurant is categorized as a Thai restaurant, their menu also offers a small sampling of Vietnamese and Japanese selections. For appetizers, we had the Vietnamese Shrimp fresh spring rolls and chicken curry puffs. The fresh spring rolls were very average and could’ve used more shrimp, but we did not expect much – we were just happy to find a restaurant in Cape with Vietnamese food. The chicken curry puffs were tasty. For the entrees, we had Panko fried pork with teriyaki sauce with jasmine rice and chicken pad thai. We were satisfied with both entrees. The prompt service, portions, and value were reasonable. We had two glasses of wine, two appetizers, and two entrees for around $ 41.00.
