Helpers Moving & Storage

Zach Dees here, standing by a very positive review of Helpers. They moved us in on a Friday and we were the second scheduled move of the day with the original crew not even being able to make it since the customers before us decided to hit the crew with more furniture ETC than had been covered over the phone. (Many extras I assume) again, my name is Zach Dees and I have absolutely no affiliation with this company other than having paid for their services. So my only complaint is that time was nowhere near what we had scheduled. They were supposed to be here between noon and 1. They didnt arrive until 5:30. However I will not complain. The fellas that showed up here had just moved a gal from St. Charles to Cape Girardeau and the crew that we were supposed to get were still assisting another customer in Sikeston (Where we are located). I know. It’s a pain in the ass when someone is 4 hours late. And I knew I would be paying them sink wasn’t happy either. However, they showed up and did their job without bitching and were totally Cool about it. Yes. I have reason to bitch since they didn’t show at the time we had planned. But shit happens and they were helping the customer before us. Blah blah. Long story short the company cut us a few deals since their clients suck and they had to deal with in and ya know, shit rolls down hill to us. But they showed up and worked their asses off until the job was complete. On top of it all they were very nice. And the price was definitely reasonable. Moving is the worst thing on the planet as far as I’m concerned. In a perfect world I give them 5 stars, or max stars. But since they were late (Not their fault) I can’t give them 5. However, I loved the experience and I give them a thumbs up. Helpers in Cape Girardeau is an honest, amazing company. I will definitely use them again. Because I’m a lazy bastard and they do great work!

I agree the door problem was resolved because one of their employees happened to be in our town and came by. They did not remove the doors of the Refrigerator. They did not move us from a house it was a duplex and we moved everything except the furniture, frig and washer and dryer. They came into a straight open area through a 3 foot normal sized door. There was only one piece of furniture that would not fit because of arched doorways and we told them to just sit it elsewhere. From previous experience the move did take a very long time and I was under the impression from the movers, that they didn’t have any other jobs so they stretched it out.
On the good side, they did not damage any furniture.
