I am giving 2 stars just because I don’t want to give 1! The food is horrible. For when we went, all the chicken dishes was salty. Could not enjoy even one of the four on the buffet. Mostly frozen stuff cooked. As any Indian cook would say, it is very difficult to get kheer«sweet Indian rice desert» wrong, they had the worst I have ever had. The platter they serve, I think is the American fast food version of real Indian food. It does not do justice to what Indian food really is. Would not visit and would not recommend.

This is definitely not Indian food. No flavor, cheap ingredients, imperfect cooking. Not one good dish that could be recommended. All in all, this is not close to being good Indian food. Will not go back, neither will I recommend.

The food was all good and very tasty. The raita sauce is fabulous and the okra dish was amazing. The tandoori chicken was really good too. The down side was almost all dishes were barely warm, a couple not warm at all. Also a limited selection compared to other buffets.

Good flavor and variety! Like most Indian buffets, the vegetarian options are especially tasty. The chana masa was really tomatoey, which isn’t anyway authentic, but tasted good. Lunch buffet is $ 7.99,and dinner is $ 9.99

I eat here on average two times a week for lunch. I have read the negative reviews, and while I can understand their perspective, I disagree. This is not Indian food of the heavily-creamed sauces and highly caloric curries with massive amounts of butter variety. The selections are healthy, flavorful, and simple but delicious. There are always a good combination of green vegetables, and lentil dishes, along with one or two interesting meat curries. For me, a huge advantage is that I can have a very healthy, vegetable-filled lunch in a very short amount of time. It is a buffet. This means that sometimes the rice dries out, and sometimes the food doesn’t look as perky as it would be if you ordered it off the menu. They are not trying to be high-end New York style Indian food. This is a simple shop with simple, good inexpensive food. Yes the naan is not fresh. I’m pretty sure the Cape inspector wouldn’t allow them to install a tandoor in the back… It’s a buffet, people, in an old fast food joint location. Be happy, be ecstatic, that Cape now has Indian. Period. Now I’m hungry. Guess where I’m going?

Tonight was my 3rd time dining here and I have to say it was my favorite! They have mixed up the recipes and are continuing to try new dishes. They had garlic naan for the first time tonight and had several new types of chicken out. This place did have a rocky start but they are figuring out what works and what doesn’t. I would recommend checking it out!

YUM! Spicy beef meatballs were my favorite with some fabulous cucumber salad to cool it down. Raita cream with Mango fruit salad was a perfect end! So glad to see an Indian Restaurant in Cape. I will definitely be back!

I am so glad to see an Indian restaurant choice in Cape Girardeau but this one has a long way to go. Where are the wonderful vegetarian selections? And yes– the nan seemed to be pre-made. The yogurt sauce was pretty great though and I will try again in a few months to see if things have improved.

Reviews are true. I should have looked. I was like What? This is not Indian food. Not sure what they are going for here. The chicken in the dishes was chicken breast, sorry, it should be dark meat selections. It was way… dry and no Indian gravies. Spicy Beef curry was horrendous. Could not eat it. Tasted like they had dumped a cup of lemon juice on it by mistake. Naan bread from a bag, tandoori was almost passable. Yes, frozen Indian food is your best choice. So sad. I was looking forward to better.

Was excited that Indian restaurant in town. Location is nice. Appearance is basic. But food taste is very bad. Not really Indian food. The microwavable frozen Indian food you buy in the store is much better than this. I wanted to give them benefit of doubt and went there on Tuesday and Saturday to try it out. Saturday was even worse. Hope they get a good Indian chef or this place going down very fast.
