Papa John’s Pizza

Have been buying pizza from Domino’s for years as they have a location near my home — never again! Papa John’s vegetarian pizza on a traditional crust is much more flavorful than the Domino’s vegetarian pizza of old (they now have an updated one — «Pacific Veggie Pizza»). Also, the lady who I placed my order with over the phone & then checked me out was friendly & pleasant.
Just priced the difference between Papa John’s & Domino’s carry out. A large Papa John’s original crust $ 17.43 vs. Domino’s hand tossed $ 18.52 — including tax. This is for a pizza with green peppers, mushrooms, & double onions, regular sauce, & normal amount of cheese. Another difference is that Papa John’s uses portobello mushrooms & Domino’s uses button mushrooms. I much prefer portobellos as they’re more flavorful.
Papa John’s also has tables to eat at & you can be entertained by watching the «kids» making pizza as you wait & eat.
