This was the first winery we tried while getting into Cape May. The lady working was so nice and we had a great chat about all sorts of things. We could have stayed there all day talking to her. This was a welcome addition after some unfriendliness and super professionalism at some of the wineries. Didn’t love any of the wine, and didn’t leave with any bottles, but I definitely recommend stopping in this winery!

Jessie Creek Winery is located on Rt 47 in Cape May Court House. Also on the property with the winery is a bed and breakfast. Art, owner was very down to earth and treated us like were for regulars at the winery. The winery is child friendly. During my trip to the winery I purchased their Cabernet Sauvignon. If you are looking for a quiet winery with friendly staff Jessie Creek is perfect for you!!!

I was recently a bridesmaid in a wedding at the Jessie Creek Winery and the bride and us bridesmaids stayed here for the weekend of the wedding. The place is incredibly charming. It has 4 unique bedrooms. Room #1(second floor) is the biggest and nicest. It has a king sized canopy bed and a small sitting area. The bride stayed there. Room #2(second floor) was also spacious and lovely. The maid of honor took that room. I stayed in room #3(second floor) which was the smallest of all rooms. It was beautiful nonetheless and had the largest, nicest bathroom out of all the rooms. While the other bathrooms each had a stand-up shower and single basin, mine had a claw-foot tub with double sinks. Room #4(third floor) went to another bridesmaid. This room had a skylight and sloped ceilings. The bathroom is not adjoining, but the bedroom and bathroom are the only two rooms on that floor. The stairs in this place are steep, so I do not suggest staying here if that will be a problem for you. Each room had a small TV and waffle-knit robes. The kitchen is fantastic. It includes a fancy espresso machine and a coffee maker. The owner Art and his girlfriend Cindy happily prepared breakfast for us at a time of our choosing each morning. Breakfast for us included eggs, waffles, sausage, the best home fries I’ve ever had, coffee and orange juice. They are such a friendly accommodating couple. There is a convenience store directly across the street, which could come in handy. I recommend a stay at this Inn, especially if you are having your wedding at the hall on the vineyard. It made it very easy to be so close to the festivities as far as setting up, getting ready, and ending the big day.
