Ugh! This doctor is the worst. While I was pregnant, I decided Dr. Michner would be my OB-GYN mainly because his obstetrics office is the only one in Cape May County who accepts Medicaid, which is the insurance I had at the time. Well, ONE visit with him changed my mind completely. He was so abrasive and impatient with me. He acted like I was wasting his time by asking questions about my pregnancy. I was so upset by the end of the appointent that I literally left the room in tears. One of the nurses stopped me in the hallway and said, «What did he say to you?!» And she proceeded to tell me that he was«having a bad day.» Well what if this man decided to have a «bad day» on the single most important day of my life, the birth of my son. No, thank you!!! I immediately called my insurance company and found out that I could find a doctor in the next county over. So, I ended up finding an amazing doctor in Atlantic City(Dr. Louis Wesley) and I had no qualms about driving 35 minutes to see him. He was incredible. My son was delivered at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Pomona and it was an immensely positive experience. Word to the wise: Do the research and find an OB-GYN who will treat you with the respect and care you deserve. Don’t settle for Dr. Grumpy Pants!
