Capitola Hill Apartments

Pros: Close enough to the beach to hear the waves at night. Safe. Friendly maintenance crew. Off street parking for one vehicle. Decent size fenced yard, for an apt. Large windows. Large pantry. Courteous office personnel. Onsite managers are friendly. Water and garbage included.
Cons: Pricey, they’ve raised our rent twice in one year for an increase of $ 250! Outdated everything. Chunks of linoleum missing throughout the kitchen flooring. The bathroom hasn’t been updated since the 60’s. Impossible to turn the light on without the deafening fan coming on as well. We have to use earplugs when getting ready in the morning. Onsite management doesn’t seem to serve any purpose, yet they take up three parking spaces. Walls are very thin, you can hear everything! No privacy. Windows are very difficult to open, some don’t open at all.
