Unless you are taking vitamin supplements, or your eating habits include all the necessary food groups, the average human being does not get enough fruits and veggies. That said, there are companies like Drink La Vie, that have come up with such a convenient way for us to get all that goodness in a bottle! I haven’t tried all of their drinks, but the ones I have tried are really really really good!!! When I say really good, I’m talking that addicting type of good. I won’t bash their competitor, but I’ve tried most of their popular drinks, and there is no comparison. One thing that stands out to me is that the sugar content with other pressed juices is much higher. How did we hear about these guys? We ran into them at the Farmers Market in Campbell. Their banner reads,“WELLNESS in a BOTTLE”. That alone will draw anyone in that is somewhat health conscious right?! Every drink I sampled was tasty and refreshing! If you are like me, if the drink or any type of protein bar or supplement has a weird aftertaste… sorry, I’ll pass! I refuse to force something down that doesn’t taste good. Long story short, I ordered the 3 day Cleanse — 1 Beginner($ 159 – 18 bottles), which was shipped to my house 3 days later. My favorite drinks are their, Coconut Water, Coconut Almond Milk, and their Green Smoothie. I actually dropped 3 lbs. during this 3 day cleanse. Their customer service is top notch. From the person you speak to at the farmers market, to anyone you talk to on the phone, they are very helpful and extremely friendly! Side note: Allow 72 hours processing time for your order. Conclusion: The best pressed juice out there!(I’ve tried them all)

These guys make some of the best drinks around — they’re healthy, refreshing, and you can FEEL them. My fave is the E3 Live and Blood, but I think they also make just about the best coconut almond milk and coconut water I’ve tasted. I also love the 3– and 7-day cleanses — they taste great and it’s pretty easy to only drink their drinks during the day. You drink 6 drinks a day, and that’s it – I do it whenever I need to drop a few lbs. or detox after a party weekend.(and PS: a few of their drinks taste great with vodka… I’m just saying…). In July/2015 they moved from Soquel to Capitola and I hear the new building is going to have a full-on kefir bar — amazing! A healthy tonic bar — what is more perfect for Santa Cruz?
