Del is a class act. Only one chair in the shop so a bit of a wait if there are a couple people waiting. But worth it! Great haircuts and always great conversation. At $ 14 a cut, you’re paying the same as SuperCuts so might as well enjoy the experience. He’s always got Sinatra or something old playing. Old Bogart and Joe DiMaggio posters on the wall. There’s even a swordfish hanging from the ceiling, and the place is tiny! I saw the shitty review above me and needed to help out my buddy with a great review. He’s a hard worker and I’m always happy when I leave his shop. Give him a try!

Gave the guy 2 chances and NOTAGAIN. First cut was barely tolerable. 2nd was totally lopsided and he got upset with ME! Looked at me pissed off and I had to tell him what to do. $ 14 haircut, gave him a twenty and he kept all the cash. Never gave me my change back. Crap joint. Spends to much time lookin at himself in the mirror too. :/

There are hack-shops, and then there are barbershops. I’ve forked over a lot of money to so-called licensed cosmetologists and stylists(is that _really_their picture on that license?) who don’t know how to use clippers and gosh forbid if they have ever held a straight-razor in their hands. Del Frazier is an old school barber, plain and simple. His haircuts are meant to last and they rock. Just tell him what you want and he will deliver. I’m one of those people who fear the day when folks like Del are no longer with us. They will take with them the secrets and talents of a breed of barbers who know how to do the job right. Sometimes you’ll have to wait(and add 20 – 30 minutes to the time that Del tells you to come back, because he loves to talk and he’s incredibly thorough). But, the wait is worth it.
