Only 5 stars? This Doctor is more than a doctor. I felt like he could read my life story to how I ended up today, injured in his office. It was like a psychic reading along with incredible treatment. I have only been once, am still in great pain, but I bet u $$ I feel better tomorrow from having waited a month and a half to get my turn to see him, and another hour and 15 minutes for my turn today with an appt to finally see him in person. Well worth the waiting! Hope you are lucky to see him as well :)
Update: been to see «The Wizard» again. This last visit was PAINFUL -(underlined).
My pain remains unchanged. He was surprised to see how much WORSE my back is. I’ve made some lifestyle changes that he agreed may help.
I hope so. Life is at a standstill until my back is healing. I am looking forward to my next visit, and soooo grateful to HAVE an appt to look forward to :-) I hope my next visit is not as painful. But, «no pain, no gain» applies to this experience.

I’ve been going to Dr. MacWhorter for over 20 years and he is a excellent chiropractor.
He has helped me so much with my back and neck pain from two car accidents years ago.
He is so personable and really listens to me. I have been to other chiropractors and he’s the best one I’ve seen. His wife, Stephanie is also wonderful helping with my insurance and referrals to other doctors.
If you’re in pain, go see Dr. Mac, you’ll be glad you did!

After my wife had made me an appointment and forced me to go to my first visit, I was kicking myself for not going sooner. I’ve never really thought of a Chiropractor as someone who could help me with my aches and pains until my visit with Dr. Mac (Glenn MacWhorter, DC).
He was quick to see that I have an issue with my shoulder that was my chief complaint of pain. I stood in front of a mirror as he pointed out and explained how my shoulder injury was compensating for itself and putting me in pain.
After a few months of stimulation and taping my shoulder up, I feel better than I have in years.
As a former radiologist, he was also able to take a look at a MRI that I had several years back and explain the findings.
He never shy’s away from questions that you have about your body and how it works. Often times, he will over explain things until he feels that you fully understand what he is doing and why he is doing it. I give him an A++ and recommend anybody with chronic aches and pains go see him. You wont regret it.

I had a chronic extremely painful spine injury that I thought I’d have to suffer with for the rest of my life because the first four doctors I went to couldn’t figure out just what was wrong. Dr. Macwhorter is excellent at what he does. He not only helped to stabilize my back, he absolutely enriched my quality of life. Not only am I in less pain and able to be more active again, I also feel fortunate to know Dr. Macwhorter and his wife, Stephanie. I couldn’t more highly recommend his practice.
