The Owner, Sierra is great — so hospitable and such a fabulous artist in her own right. We always find gifts to buy for ourselves or others as so many unique and quality gits to choose from. Range is huge but it all fits: fine jewelry, artistic placemats, balsa surfboards, and oil lamps

I love this store! I bought my first pair of earrings when Cierra was in the Mercantile. every time I come to Capitola I go to Lumen and always come away with something beautiful, and unique. I just bough some jewelry, a very cool rug and some beautiful place mats. Score!!!

Honestly, I go to Lumen Gallery for the jewelry. I love the selection and quality of the locally made jewelry. The store in general is very interesting and has unique items for the home. LOVE LOVE LOVE this store and the owner Cierra offers the best customer service in town!

This Gallery is amazing I am a student and I had to do a review on the art, atmosphere and such for a gallery and I picked Lumen. Overall the feel and actual artwork was amazing they were defiantly pulling off that calm beach feel. They have hand carved surfboards, Amazing paintings on canvas and I even saw some acrylic paintings on a board of wood where the artist used the natural grain of the wood to help portray the sea and the sky. Overall I had a good time at Lumen and would recommend all to visit when they take a trip to Capitola

I was SO pleased to see Lumen Gallery open. It is the type of place that Capitola has needed for a long time! They have really fun pieces of art, befitting a beach town. Lots of different artists and their inventory changes enough to make a visit worthwhile, even if you were just there the previous month. The owner has excellent taste and I am always excited to see what she brings in next.

This place has many cool items and jewelry… super friendly… We picked up some unique necklaces for our daughters. Definitely worth dropping in and checking out.
