The Daisy

My favorite place to get NICE clothing at great prices — the money made there goes to needy families in the community! They have a wonderful group of ladies to visit with while you try things on! (Sort of geared for us middle aged women :-) Enjoy!

The variety of women’s clothing – sizes, fabrics, casual and formal – hooks me. I proved a couple of years ago that I’d rather buy used items that survived well than a new item at Macy’s. Seams tore, the second time I wore a «sale» top that I’d splurged on for $ 80. Lots of jewelry items, from casual to dress-​up. And wait til you see the neat shoes, some hardly worn. I spill on tops often, so why spend more than $ 12 for a top? Most of all, I love knowing that the money benefits the Family Service Agency of the Central Coast. It’s across the driveway from Pretty Mama’s, so if I fail to find something at The Daisy, I have another terrific store where I can continue my search.

Great place for bargains, even some new items that have been donated. Quality items, nicely arranged and very friendly volunteers. I live in San Jose, and always make sure I stop here when I go to th beach.

A great place to find recyclable clothing and some housegoods. Top quality, perfect condition. Much less expensive than the consignment stories. And the ladies that run it are great.

I had some very nice women’s clothing to donate to this place. I called to find out their hours — they close at 4:30pm. I still had enough time to head over to donate the clothing I had. Drove over, lugged a huge bag over to the door and it was locked. «What the ???» It wasn’t even 4:30pm yet! Looked through the heavily tinted glass door and saw 3 old ladies sitting smack in front of the door having a meeting. I knocked and one of the old ladies, shook her head «no», like — «go away, can’t you see we’re busy?» They could very well see that I had items to GIVE/​DONATE to them. But, no one bothered. Fine!, I left and donated to the Goodwill Store across the street.
I thought I would donate for the first time to The Daisy, but no more, no way! They were mean not to answer the door — even to open the door and SPEAK to me, they were inconsiderate and down right RUDE. I will never step foot in that place ever and I have and will not recommend shopping there to anyone.
