Not a good bar at all. For a place to hangout they play the live music way too loud you can’t have a conversation with anyone. The Bartender with the beard, black beanie, and an accent is a douche bag. He tried to get tough with me when I tired to order two beers and only had one ID. I pointed to my buddy who he already had served and said it was for him. He said he needed two ID’s. I said ok I’ll get them later then. I go to the other end of the bar to talk to another friend I hadn’t seen in 3 years. He comes up to me saying I owe him 3 dollars for the beer I ordered. I said I ordered 2 beers and was going to go get them later when I had 2ID’s. 5 minutes later I walk up to the bar he is gone the other bartender said she was told not to serve me. At this point I had both ID’s. He comes back we have an argument and tried to get tough again. As a soldier on leave I was looking forward to having a good time with my buddies who I hadn’t seen since last year because of deployment. I understood the whole ID part but when I said fine I will get them later when I have both IDs and he serves me one and tells me to pay for is not the right answer. Overall terrible bar it’s always dirty, empty glasses are laying around everywhere the people in the bar smell terrible. I wish the Phat Thai was still open that was a real bar.

Absolutely beautiful bar. The décor is all coal mining memorabilia and it will send you skipping down memory lane. I come froma family with a history of mining and it really hit home. The drinks here are VERY affordable and the happy hour drops them to almost laughable prices. Decent selection of Colorado beers on tap. Also, taco Tuesday’s.
