I don’t know who rated this shop as overpriced and snooty, but I have exchanged many emails with Dave from the shop and they have been great to deal with, and given great information on their products. I cannot speak to the prices of all their gear, but when it comes to fly rods and rod/​reel combos they have been cheaper than most anywhere else including major outdoor sporting goods stores, and even if it were slightly more expensive I would rather support a smaller business, but why not get a great deal and support an independently owned business.
