Excellent! Great food and fantastic service! Try the fried chicken sandwich and truffle fries.

Café Bink is a lovely place, nice atmosphere & good food, but the service today was absolutely terrible! We waited two hours with two small children for a basic Sunday mid morning brunch! It was very obvious that certain«snooty» people were getting their meals before us(even though we placed our orders before them). There’s a glitch in their customer service. Our waitress should’ve known better. I wanted to walk out but that’s not my style. Get it together café Bink. Take care of your customers

Food is good if you are willing to wait hours, and it wasn’t crowded. Maybe our server was also the cook. UGH!

I love a restaurant that has a lot of choices and caters to the customers palate. I had a delightful meal of sautéed brussel sprouts with bacon, french onion soup and profiteroles. This is a nicely appointed small restaurant with outdoor seating, first class wines, designer beers and multiple alcohol choices. The service is first class with knowledgeable, professional, personable staff that strives to make your experience memorable. The flavors are fresh and delightful. Thank you for the experience! I will be back to try the rest of the menu.

At Café Bink’s last night, we decided to make a meal out of smaller plates to give us a broader selection of tastes. Our choices were the mussels with a small side of fries, pork mac and cheese, and a stuffed chili. All were very competently prepared, but the stuffed chili was outstanding. The mac and cheese was quite good, although calling it rich would be an understatement. The mussels were also very good, but not particularly special, while the accompanied fries were excellent. We normally don’t have dessert, but the banana profieroles tempted us, and while quite good, they were not exceptional. The portions were of a reasonable size for us, although we didn’t finish the mac and cheese. The service was friendly and effecient, although we had to ask for the buckwheat biscuits(very tasty with the honey butter) that were being served immediately to the other tables.

Short Story — Our beverage order was taken but nobody took our lunch order and we waited 25 minutes. We arrived when it wasn’t busy at 11:10– 11:15 Sunday November 22nd2015. I took a picture to show you it wasn’t busy yet but there were three tables behind me on the patio. I left at 11:40. Longer Story — I love nearly all the food from all the Binkley Restaurants. The food is always the highest quality, very creative and masterfully prepared. It’s usually something unique I won’t find anywhere else. Sometimes the food is so great it’s mind-blowing. I have blogged about all the Binkley restaurants except for Café Bink and have only posted positive things about the food. I go to Binkley’s once a year. I visit Scottsdale Bink’s and Midtown Bink’s a couple times a year as well and I do go to Café Bink maybe once or twice a year. Just last week my husband entertained business clients at Bink’s Scottsdale and they raved about the wonderful dinners they had. My husband said they drank a lot too. When we arrived a server told us to pick any table we wanted so I picked a small table that faced the mountain. Our server takes our beverage order and I ordered an iced tea that I received quickly. We were looking forward to starting with a fun vegetable plate or two like the Armenian Cucumbers and were hoping the vegetable plate of the day would be something interesting. For lunch I was torn between several plates. The sole or the roast beef. My husband was going to get the Sloppy Joe and the stuffed Anaheim Chile. He LOVES the Anaheim Chile and had it several times usually at the Scottsdale location. We waited and waited and noticed several tables that came in after us got waited on. We waited 25 minutes and we decided that was enough and we’d have to have lunch elsewhere. To the Binkley Management. Against my husband’s wishes I left $ 4.00 under my iced tea glass not to tip the server but to pay for the beverage I hardly drank. You should have a single iced tea sale rang in before 12:00 November– 22– 2015. Since nobody cared to wait on me I do feel it wouldn’t be out of place to award this visit ONESTAR. My two stars is possibly overly generous and that’s only because the food is usually outstanding. My blog is
Very VERY unhappy… Sadly I’m not sure if I will ever visit or recommend this restaurant again.

This place is a true gem. From the pancakes to the eggs benedict and even your morning excuse to have a Bloody Mary, it has it all.

My first experience at Café Bink was fantastic! We found room on the patio, shared 4 plates between us(my gf and I) and each had a tasty cocktail. Quite the delicious brunch/lunch! If I lived closer, I would totally be a(weekly) regular!

At least twice this year alone, this place has been ranked in the top 5 dirtiest restaurants in the valley, April 24 and just yesterday October 29, 2015. Imagine our horror to seeing this reported on the news after we’d just eaten there for the first time that day. Upset stomach after our lunch… coincidence? Me thinks not. Never again.

Food was way over priced, and it was not good. I got a porkchop that was so well done that I could hardly cut it.

We love Café Bink! We’ve been here a lot for family dinners and it is the perfect relaxed atmosphere for a dining experience that is laid-back but with gourmet food! Everything is good here. Especially the fries with truffle ketchup — do not miss that!

Café Bink is the«little brother» to the more famous Blinkley’s just up the road. Located in a strip mall with an outside patio to take advantage in nice weather. Inside you will find a small bar to grab a seat or you can wait for a table. As always, the food is the thing. The menu offers smaller, more simple selections. We went with the Mac & Cheese and the Sloppy Joe. Both were good and satisfying.

We were brought here by friends for Sunday brunch. It’s a very unassuming place tucked away in the corner of a grocery center mall. Upon entering you first notice a simple but elegant bar and assorted tables. There is lots of appealing art on the walls as as well. Our hosting couple told us a bit of background about Chef Binkley who owns and operates a couple of other well regarded eateries around the city. I never expect too much of breakfast, but my expectations were wildly exceeded by the depth of their food preparation and ingredients. I often order Eggs Benedict when it is available both because I really like it when it’s done correctly and as a benchmark for my restaurant reviews. CB’s Benedict was far beyond mere correctness; it’s extraordinary. The cage free fresh eggs are actually poached and done to perfection. They use a delectable ham in lieu of Canadian bacon all delightfully stacked on what seemed to be a freshly baked English muffin of unparalleled crispness and taste, all topped off with a perfectly smooth and creamy Hollandaise. Others in our party equally enjoyed their extraordinary frittatas made with fresh ingredients and served in personal sized cast iron skillets. They have a full bar and make excellent Mimosas that are more champagne than OJ and very refreshing along with brunch. The wait staff are friendly, knowledgable and approachable. Everything about this place is top drawer and very well done. I look forward to trying Chef Binkley’s other establishments soon.

I was excited to try a Binkley’s restaurant and still plan to try the others, but as my introduction to them this left room for improvement. Here’s the cliff notes: Place was nice, servers were pleasant but barely present, food was average. It appeared they were not very efficient as any time a single person asked for something they disappeared to the back and often got distracted on their way to complete the initial task or talking with regulars. I think the quality of service was directly related to your proximity to the kitchen and years of patronage. Full review: We were seated in under 2 minutes, but it took that long to be greeted at all. We ordered nearly immediately and did not see our server again(at our own table) until it was time to pay(probably 30 minutes later). I finished my coffee prior to my meal being delivered and finally flagged down a busboy to ask for a refill…5−7 minutes later my server came with coffee and I asked to pay…7−8 minutes later after not receiving a bill I tracked her down and handed her my card. It appeared the folks on the patio had similar service as I saw a gentlemen clearly frustrated also chase down his server to pay. The restaurant was not at all busy… and only filled up later as multiple tables were still waiting to pay. It is doubtful I would return to this restaurant or recommend it to others in the area. It was far from a bad experience, but it does not appear to be like the Binkley’s restaurants my friends have spoke of. Hopefully the next one will make a better impression. Update: Shortly after this review, management contacted me, apologized and invited me for another try. I appreciate them taking the feedback seriously, but since I do not live near this restaurant I declined. I still plan to try their other restaurants.

Year another fantastic set of dishes from Café Bink. It’s no wonder why we choose this place when returning to the Scottsdale area! Number one on the taste parade has to be the pulled mozzarella with the three sauces. THE greatest mozzarella I’ve had outside of LA. Coming in a close second with some of the greatest condiments were the best damn fries I’ve ever had. Truffle fries that held their own, remaining crispy long after I finished the sauces that came with them. While the wings were not as good as we thought, the fried oysters special and chorizo Mac and cheese were a great rebound that had my date and I devouring these dishes. Always a great treat to come here whenever we visit the area! Now for the chocolate chip cookies and crime brûlée

OK… This is my new favorite place in town. There’s so many places that are closed now since it’s summer. It was great having such a nice place open for a wonderful relaxing lunch. My friend and I sat at the bar and Donna served us. We had several different appetizers including the mozzarella, the peppers, the gazpacho soup and The buttermilk oysters. The mozzarella was pretty fair but the rest were excellent. Paired with some great wine. Can’t wait to come back in the evening with my husband and enjoy some of their dinner fare!

We were cautious when visiting for the first time tonight based on the scattered reviews. We thought the food was fantastic and our server Donna was wonderful and personable! We will definitely be back soon. The food is tasty and inventive but not overpriced. The atmosphere is casual but enjoyable for a night out. The seating was slightly cramped and we will try to go back next time during a season when patio seating is best.

Café Bink is a casual bistro type restaurant owned by Kevin Binkley(no relation to former Pittsburgh Penguin goalie, Les Binkley), whose fine dining restaurant in Cave Creek has earned much well-deserved acclaim. My wife and I with a close friend from L.A. arrived about 7:15 at Café Bink with a reservation, and were seated immediately. Our server was very helpful, and gave us some ideas about her favorite items on the menu. There were lots of folks eating at the bar, as well as outside on the patio. My lovely wife and I shared a chopped salad, which was simply oustanding. We got one bowl and asked for an empty one so we could split it. Instead we got a second bowl of salad(hurray)! Our friend ordered two appetizers for his meal, pulled mozarella and stuffed Anaheim chili peppers – he was a happy camper, insisting he needed to bring his wife back to sample these dishes. My wife ordered the trout meuniere to which she gave high marks. I got the buttermilk fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. While the mashed potatoes were O.K., the fried chicken was the best I have had since visiting Stroud’s in Kansas City many years ago. It was perfectly seasoned, and more importantly, hot and moist inside. The Colonel needs to trade in his secret recipe on this one, as it was far, far better! We topped it off with a dessert of hot donuts, with a choice of three dipping sauces, all excellent(No double dipping at our table, a la George Costanza)! All in all, a fine meal in the far off suburb of Carefree, which described how each of us felt when we departed.

Tasty, casual, easy place to grab dinner in the Cave Creek area. We stuck with mostly small plates and salads to share including the mushroom soup(delicious), stuffed Chile with duck egg(unusual and delicious), butternut squash with ricotta and blackberries(solid) We also got the trout which was well cooked and tasty but nothing too special. Fries were hot and crispy. We were a bit disappointed by the mussels.

Being huge fans of Binkley’s, our curiosity piqued at the idea of a more casual fare version close-by. Living in the far northwest valley, the idea of driving to Café Bink was more enticing than trekking all the way to Old Scottsdale where most of the new and upcoming restaurants feel«safe» to demo their breakthrough culinary techniques. Casual, the restaurant stands. You walk in and the hostess desk is right at the entryway. There’s barely room for people to wait unlike the living room style sitting area at Binkley’s. Bar or table? A grand scale bar in rich woods claims the left side while a narrow row of tables hugs the right side. No cocktail list. I felt like a baby bird first being shown how to fly. I had to order cocktails on my own volition without any written guidance of what words sounded the most tantalizing for some bartender’s new take on a classic. This restaurant keeps it simple. I ordered my favorite«go-to,» an Old Fashioned and loved it so much that I ordered a few. My hubby ordered a beer, but I can’t remember what it was. What a girl I am, because I can only recall that it was served in a beer glass that was adorned with the name«Bink’s» in a whimsical font. Calamari. Flavorful and seasoned lightly with no frills. Batter light and flaky but hardly messy. Tender, not chewy. Pulled to Order Mozzerella — served with a trio of dips. Red onion marmalade sounds crazy, but it actually worked. The red onion did not counter the sweetness of the marmalade at all. The pesto was very familiar in taste and good. The tomato jam was tart and sweet and also produced an interesting likable flavor with the cheese. Trout Meunière –Served with haricots verts(French green beans), toasted almonds, lemon brown butter. Meunière simply refers to the fish being lightly floured and then sautéed. The taste is light, inviting, and savory. I often seen green beans paired with buttery trout and if you eaten both together, you’d know why, because they compliment each other well! Bacon burger — Although burgers seem foolproof, I’ve had some pretty interesting ones to put it nicely. However, the bacon burger here is as expected, cooked to perfection(well at least the one I tried that my hubby ordered). Juicy and flavorful and not overdone. My hubby always goes for the road less traveled when it comes to food, but for this dinner, he was craving a burger. Whether you’re more food adventurous or like to keep food simple, this burger will more then satisfy that craving! If you see something on the menu that is «out of the ordinary» then I suggest you try it, because chances are it’ll be more interesting to let your taste buds take a tour rather than feeding them a monotony of the same foods over and over again. Café Bink is a fun place to try!
