Bobbys burger was packed, shake shack line was out the door. 3rd option was 5 guys. I should of waited. Burgers were just a step above McDonalds. My sons was burnt. I asked if they could make him another one, that was not burnt. They had the nerve to charge me for the burger. I’ll wait for a better burger next time…

This Five Guys is no different from most of their restaurants around the country. Great burgers and fries. Friendly service. Nice choice of soft drinks. Clearly one of the very best chain burger joints you will find. I like this particular location because it is never crowded and the service is always fast and friendly. There are other burger spots in the immediate area, but I’ll take Five Guys over them every time.

Love this place. Clean place. Nice staff. Free peanuts while you wait for your freshly made burger. They put a scoop of fries in your bag and dump another scoop on top of that. Thats only if you order fries with your burger, but who doesn’t? ?.. lol. Soda machine with hundreds of soda combinations. Convenient location with free parking.

Went to five guys for early dinner . The staff was very very courteous and friendly, the place was spotlessly clean ‚ they greeted me by name(very important) and made me feel immediately at home. I love the Coke A Nater. machine that makes a million sodas. go back a million times for refills. and the hot spicy fries are really good if you mix a little bit of ketchup with the mayonnaise and dip. Had a little bacon cheeseburger which is anything but little, once they get done dressing it off with all the free toppings that come with it… the small fries are more than enough and taking leftover home with me. because they fill the whole rest of the bag up . Love my once a week visit to five guys sometimes I go twice a week don’t mind that the burger is more well done as the grade of meat makes it always very juicy. Love the fresh FREE, peanuts nice touch as the fries are cooked in peanut oil. I need some napkins. AUNTIEMAE would always say . if its free its for me.

It was a decent experience nothing special about it. The food was made fresh and was tasty I actually expected more since I hear so much about it from my brother but it’s whatever it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good enough for me to have the sudden desire to want to come here. The place was clean and well kept

Had a great burger and really good fries here. I appreciate the guy taking our order warning me and how large the fry order actually is, and it was good to split between two people. The place was clean and not super busy. The only reason I gave this 3 stars is because unlike MANYOTHER locations this place doesn’t serve milkshakes, which to me is extremely annoying.

There are no less than 5 burger joints around this location. To me this is the best burger going. Place is clean and friendly. Also fresh ice tea which makes a difference. Of all the new

Got a burger that was just terrible asked for a well done burger with bacon cheese and onions and they just ended up adding lettuce and tomatoes as well. The burger also came over cooked it just tasted like a burnt patty. Staff needs a little pep talk because they have a I hate the world look in their eyes.

This location does a great job making their burgers juicy and delicious. At the same time my burger wasn’t overly greasy. This location never seems to get crowded and appears clean. Very good burger! 4.25 stars

Been to this place a few times and can say that they are fairly consistent. There’s generally never any line. Loads of seating. Clean environment and the staff seems pretty friendly, even when I only order one cheeseburger with everything to share with hubby. Food is always fresh, including fries since the lines aren’t too long. They don’t precook and leave standing waiting for a customer. And yes, they almost always double up your fries. We always order a small and they always dump the entire freshly fried serving into the bag. Plus they have the complimentary peanuts! Great place!

I wanted to go somewhere between 2 and 3 stars but I went 2 stars. I haven’t been to a Five Guys for a few years even though they’re everywhere now. It tasted different to me, the burgers used to be juicier. Even though I asked for mine medium rare it came well done. And the patty was small and dry. And the fries were tasteless, just hot and greasy. I used to love Five Guys but it’s changed a lot since they first started. And even though the place was empty, my order took forever to come out.

Five guys is my favorite place to get a burger. Both the burger and the fries are delicious. I suggest getting a small fries because they give you a massive amount. The drink machine is also awesome because they have the coke machine with like 100 flavors.

This is probably my least favorite Five Guys location and it pales in comparison to Shake Shack right down the road. The place is rarely crowded. The staff rarely speaks English. But the burgers are rarely bad. This place gets the job done for a quick lunch, but it is by no means a destination spot.

I ate here the other day for my first time. I needed a fresh burger and I wasn’t talking about Mcdonald’s or Burger King(we all known those are not fresh) anyways I work close to this place so I decided to try it. I told them I wanted my burger burnt lol because I like mine WELLDONE… and ITWASBOMB! The burger was everything my little heart dreamed of. I will be back. But not too soon. Cant let a good thing ruin by going there too soon to often. Angd last… this place was SUPERCLEAN! …I think the bad reviews are from people not reviewing the RIGHTFIVEGUYS at the place they actually ate at… I say that because I almost reviewed one on Jericho Turnpike NY… but this one in Carle Place is great.

At least offer to serve a burger cooked to order and not pulverized on the griddle. When’s someone gonna open up a burger spot where the patties are made in house from custom ground beef and someone can actually order their burger medium f#%$% rare

I’m really confused by the negative reviews on this place. One star because they couldn’t find your lost stuff? As for the negative review on the burgers, I have visited this Five Guys several times(after an admittedly mediocre experience in Brooklyn) and I had the exact opposite experience. Johnny Rockets used to be my favorite place for a burger, but the quality at this Five Guys is much better. Anyone who thinks Burger King tastes better has no taste buds! I normally don’t order fries, because the burger is enough. I recommend the bacon cheese burger«all the way»(see the sign in-store. Unlimited toppings are included in the price!), with the addition of BBQ sauce if you’re feeling extra saucy. I like my burgers medium, but I find that temperature is not a problem at Five Guys like it would be at other chains. The meat is always well-cooked, but still juicy even if not pink in the middle. The toppings are fresh and adequate. Re: the«messy burger» comment: When a burger gets packed«to go», it can be a bit on the messy side depending on how many toppings you order. I think they use pre-cut foil sheets that could be a tad bigger. I’ve had leakage into the paper bag. But this is a chain-wide problem. The burger tastes so excellent that you will likely not mind getting a little messy. If you eat in the restaurant at a table like a human being, I fail to see how your needing a bib is the burger’s fault. Against messy burgers? Reduce the number of toppings. To clarify, the onions are not grilled to death, nor are they underdone: they are grilled with a bit of crunch remaining. The contrasting textures make for a better burger. Re: employees: The staff are really friendly and welcome conversation. English may not be the first language for some people who work there, but not the majority. I never had any communication problems. Complaining about non-English speakers in NY is a bit moot at this point. Maybe spice up your next burger experience by ordering it in Spanish. The best part about this Five Guys is the location — hardly anyone seems to know it’s there, nestled between some disused stores, a gold buyer and a Red Lobster. All the local posers and tweens are across the street at the new Shake Shack(great burgers, too, but more expensive, and the place is literally teeming all day and night). So I stroll into the quiet, seemingly deserted Five Guys, exchange a knowing glance with one or two other patrons who happen in while I wait, and proceed to enjoy the best burger on this part of Long Island. I’m almost sorry that I even told you about it. On second thought, maybe you should try Burger King after all.
