Spotless Gutter Cleaning & Repair

Despite my poor rating, I should say that the guy that did my gutter cleaning was professional, friendly, and seemed to do a good job (I can’t inspect the gutters myself, but he did remove a lot of debris). My property was indeed left «spotless» when he was done.
My poor rating is for 2 reasons: 1) My appointment window was for this past Saturday between 10AM and 12PM. No one showed up in this time. However, I received a call from Spotless’ office at 11:31 saying that the they were running late and would be at my house by 1PM. That time came and went. At about 2:45 one tech showed up (of the two that were supposed to arrive). He was very apologetic for being late, and got to work straight away. He was done in just over half an hour.
Which brings me to: 2) The price. I was quoted $ 150 – 200 based upon the office staff having looked at my house on the Nassau County Assessor’s website. I ended up paying $ 150, which is fair enough as far as the estimate goes. However, even my attorney doesn’t charge $ 300/​hour, which (pro-​rated) is about what I paid for one guy and a ladder. If I’d known ahead of time that the job would be so short, I probably would have haggled a bit.
The biggest issue for me was the wasted Saturday afternoon. I’d had better things to do than sit at home waiting around for an extra 3 – 5 hours. Better communication would have improved the situation.
