This place is actually pretty nice in terms of looks and super convenient next to my hotel. My waitress was sweet but it literally took 10 min for each drink that i ordered by someone else had to pour it and they just didn’t care. I could even see the lady that had to pour being super angry at my waitress for even asking. Ordered a steak and when it finally got to me it was super cold as it had been sitting there for a while. I hate giving bad reviews but I was bummed be I was hoping for a nice relaxing meal after a long work day.

Had the best St. Patrick’s day dinner buffet ever. The food was out of this world. Hope they have it again next year. The best shepards pie I have ever had, tender and lean corned beef and lamb and deliciously seasoned cabbage and red potatoes. Rice pudding for dessert was so yummy. I can’t say enough about this place. I have eaten there before and food is always excellent, service is great and love the décor. They also have different food themes each night. Highly recommend!

Another good experience at this Sports Pub & Grill. This time around it was guy’s night out. With numerous tv’s, everyone got to watch the hockey game from any viewing angle without having to contort like one of those cirque du sole performers. The food also held up with crispy buffalo wings, burgers and my tasty Philly Cheesesteak grunt grunt manly food! Different fries then last time I was here but they were good. No wait to get in, very friendly service and you could actually hear the television!

Went there on a Monday night because I was staying at the hotel. I probably should have went for a walk in the rain across the street. My meal came out wrong twice. When it finally made it to the table it was extremely greasy and tasteless except for the pound of salt they used on it. All of this was insanely overpriced as hotel restaurants usually are. Do yourself a favor and take a short walk to a better restaurant.

Plus: they have the NFL package. Minus: food is about what you would expect from a bar attached to a hotel. If you need somewhere to watch an out of town game and get a beer, this is a good choice, but grab lunch beforehand.

Waitresses are fun and great to talk to. The french fries are delicious, but breakfast leaves something to be desired.

For a hotel restaurant, this is actually a decent place. The sports bar we originally wanted to visit to both eat and watch the game was closed so we came here instead. Yes, it’s inside a Holiday Inn. Yes, the décor is bit outdated. However! They have TVs ALL over the place! On top of that, there is a nifty TV holder smack in the middle of the dining area. No matter where you’re seated, you can watch the game. Service was very fast and our waiter was very nice. They have something for everyone on the food menu, and a decent drink menu to browse through. I had the turkey club without bacon and the turkey was VERY fresh. The roll was good and toasted. I had sweet potato fries as my side and they were very good, as well. Their beer selection isn’t terrible and they have pretty much every liquor known to man behind the bar. The prices aren’t even that steep considering this is more of a place for people staying in the hotel. Not a bad place to grab some food, maybe a drink, and watch the game.

One word… HORRIBLE! A sports bar in a holiday inn is just stupid!!! Plus they have Bottoms Up next door which is way better! ANd CANZ down the street. The place is overpriced and the food is comparable to mcdonalds, I’d actually rather go to mcdonalds… the employees have no personalities!!! It was way better when it was that court restaurant with Karaōke Friday’s! What happened to that??? Bad MOVE Holiday INN bad MOVE!!! Never going back.

Ate here during breakfast while on business and loved it! Kudos to Veronica, my waitress, as she was upbeat, fast and friendly. Would definitely dine here again if and when I’m back in town.

The Sporting News Grill is top notch with everything you would ever want in a sports bar! My boyfriend and I were in the area for business and decided to eat at the Sporting News Grill. We were very impressed! This place has a marvelous, laid back atmosphere with an upscale feel. They have quality, big screen TVs and big comfortable booths. The food was delicious(not typical bar food) and very reasonably priced. I got the penne a la vodka, which was fabulous and big enough for leftovers. My boyfriend had the hamburger, which was big and juicy. Another big plus was the great selection of beers on tap. Our waitress was very friendly and was more than willing to change the station so my boyfriend could watch the game he wanted. Overall, we had a great experience and would definately recommend it to any one in the area!

This place absolutely sucks. The food is terrible and the staff sucks. I was traveling for business in the area, and was looking for a sports bar to watch my Alma Mater’s basketball game. I went in, sat down and asked for a TV to be changed to ESPN. There were 3 people in the place and they have maybe 15 TVs. They put the game on, so far so good. Not 10 minutes later does some jackass walk in, say ‘Why are you watching basketball?’, and changes the channel on the one TV I can see to hockey. Hello… every other TV in the whole establishment has hockey on. This guy has to work there, because he had access to the little panel that controls all the TVs, but he’s dressed really sloppily while the other staff is in uniforms. So I speak up, and ask that they turn maybe one of the other 15 TVs to the game I’d like to watch, and so he goes and changes the TV I was watching back to my game. I wasn’t too upset at this point, until the guy decides to come over and stand by my table and just bash my team, and not just in basketball, but starts talking about how bad our football team was last year(that went 12 – 2 and won a BCS game). He was extremely condescending, overall just a fucking asshole. I started to give it back a little, and he went away. Not 10 minutes later does someone change the channel again, so I ask the waitress if they’ll at least put it on another TV. Keep in mind the place is EMPTY. There were more TVs in the place than people. She says sure, walks away, and doesn’t do anything. At this point, there are only 10 minutes left in the game, and it’s a close game. She comes back several minutes later and says she is sorry, but hopefully someone will change the channel for me soon. I’d had enough and got my check to see that they didn’t price my beers at the advertised special. I didn’t even complain, I wasn’t surprised, I just paid and left, went back to my hotel and watched in my room. Even if I was staying at the Holiday Inn and they were having free beer, I would never go back. No wonder it was empty.

Are you kidding! A sports bar and grill inside a holiday inn! Why go there when you have restaurants all around with better food! No local people will go to a hotels restaurant, and if you eat here it’s awful! Don’t waste your time! Worst wings!

This was a nice find on a busy Saturday night. It’s actually attached to the Holiday Inn. It’s a gorgeous, clean space inside. Had it not been for all the flat screen televisions that hung on almost every flat surface imaginable, I wouldn’t have guessed that this was a sports bar/restaurant. No stale beer smell. No sticky floors. And no large crowds, either. Maybe that’s because it’s new. They had several games going on at once, including a soccer game on a couple of the televisions. There were a small handful of locals who stayed by the bar area. We actually got a table in the dining room, and my friends were able to watch the football game while I enjoyed my cocktail and burger. The food is reasonable with a pretty decent selection: burgers, cheese steaks, and sandwiches. They also offer a pretty big selection of salads and entrees. Their beer menu is impressive with several craft beer choices. There is a full bar, as well as a small cocktail menu. For under $ 20 per person, we ate well, drank well, and got to watch the game! I think we found our new go-to spot when we’re around those parts and we’re too hungry to wait for a table at the Cheesecake Factory. All in all, this place sure does beat Fridays!
