The store is clean and the staff obliging. Bread was stale and overpriced. Too bad the staff can’t make up for bad product.

Located on a tiny shopping center in the rural Ash Township, this is a budget Busch’s. As you enter, front and center, is a mini-dollar store. Prices aren’t bad, but the deli department only had two rotisserie chickens and once I bought mine they had to put another one in. The bakery department is small and whereas you would have ten items in a more cosmopolitan area, here there are four. The place is clean and the staff friendly, but the customers have a habit of leaving their baskets in the aisle and them returning to them after they find what they want. Major traffic bottleneck!

This store has a wonderful staff and great things with a fantastic focus on locally grown goods and Michigan-made merchandise. The selection is a little narrow, but then it’s a small store in a teeny little town. The meat department always has fresh, tasty goods. I wish there was more seafood and more vegan friendly options. No tofu, only one milk-free butter alternative, but they do have a couple options from two brands of milk-free ice cream! The microbrew selection is well above average for many bigger grocery stores, and the fresh veggies are always looking fantastic.
