Trying something new and local, first impression driving up was Oh no. This place is not your newly renovated or chic dining establishment, and I don’t think it is what they are going for.
Lunch time, server was very nice attentive and helpful. Meal included mini tacos and fried green beans. Both were good. Next was homemade chili, blueberry pancakes, a hot dog and the farmers skillet. Skillet was huge, could only eat half. But what a flavorful mix of sausage, bacon, potatoes, cheese and top it off with country gravy and two ver easy eggs! Pancakes were light and fluffy with a bunch of flavor too. A piece of pumpkin pie to finish it off… We will be back.

Farmers Café is always solid, prices and portions are on point. Coming from me that means a lot because I’m a hog. Been here for all 3 meals never had a bad experience. One thing I tell every new person I bring is to notice how everyone stops and looks every time the door opens.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. super busy but was seated and served in a very timely manner. I had an omelet which in my opinion was very good. Ordered the mickey pancakes and sausage for my son that was a Huge kids meal!!! My husband has steak and eggs said the eggs were fantastic but the steak was average. Great service and great prices! We will visit again!

Oh my goodness! This place has the best home cooked meals ever. The menu offers everything you would ever want and the prices are great. The plates are full and your tummy will be to. This is by far is my favorite place to eat.

Just wanted to add: I am NOT hateful. I have no grudge against the owner, the help, or some prior order. I genuinely enjoyed the food and the overall experience.
AND I agree: I never had any complaints about the cleanliness.
BUT: roaches come in inside crates, bags, and boxes, and they reproduce rapidly even in the cleanest restaurants.
C’mon: if you’ve got to spray 7 times, and long sprays, NOT short bursts, that is a bigger problem than a can of Raid is going to repair. Get a pro in there.
The owner and the help are all very nice people, the food is terrific, and I’d love to change my mind and give you guys another try! Please fix the problem.

Bunch of old cronies harassing the help and complaining about cheap prices. The food is very good and awesome. It’s the kind of place you take your grandparents if they are not already there because someone’s grandparents are always there.
I like old people, they’re easier to take in a fight and they don’t make comments about your drinking.

Breakfast review: I was amazed with the number of items on the menu! Lots of selections, soooo many choices! The staff was friendly, fast and efficient. It’s a tad out of the way for me but whenever I’m cruising the back roads, I’m going to be hitting Farmers!

This place has excellent breakfast, I like to get the country skillet, which is almost enough food for two. It’s usually pretty busy in the morning especially on weekends. Theres a lot of old timers in this restaurant I think going here is some sort of Carleton tradition, then again there’s not a lot to choose from around there. Their lunch and dinner is pretty standard, I usually go there only for breakfast. I’ve never had bad service there.

When it comes to breakfast this little hole in the wall blows away any of the other breakfast chains around. My wife always gets the French toast. I’ve never had a meal here I didn’t like. The service is always good. For the price and quality of food, you can’t go wrong here. They’ve recently expanded the dining room, but we’ve yet to migrate from our favorite booth.
