Best Nails

Poor customer service. Guy at the check in desk was nice. Woman that handled me was very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable, and kept bragging how she was way better then a competitor. I assumed she was joking at first and went along with her boasts. But I noticed her attitude got worse as she got to my manicure. She then proceeded to use a circular sander on my toenails which I’ve never had used before. I thought it was neat. She then quickly and dismissively buffed the nails and did my manicure which she cut the nails crooked and I had her adjust accordingly. The manicure wasn’t nearly as bad as the pedicure. Then as my feet dried and I got home I noticed the damage had already been done. My toenails were completely scuffed on the surface, and sharp and jagged on the tips. I actually thought that this place would’ve been my one stop shop. I still tipped the woman well but I am quite disappointed in the poor workmanship and lack of customer service. The whole service took two hours. I sadly regret stopping in here.

Best Nails is by far the best nail salon in Carlisle. Kevin has a talent for acrylic and gel nails. I know when I go here I will always walk out with fabulous looking nails. No need for me to worry as the quality and standard of his work is very high. And he is fast. The whole staff is talented. My favorite pedicures are with Gil. But again they are all good here. Most of the people here have been working together for years and are good friends. It’s a fun place to go and relax and enjoy the close working relationship these people have. The salon itself is very clean and has a relaxing atmosphere in part I think because the people are so relaxed and enjoy each others company and it shows in the great work they do. Thanks for another great fill in. Oh and there is plenty of parking. I like that too.

Went there today for the first time because I was looking for a friendlier place than where I was going before. The staff was so much nicer and in high spirits! Super friendly to their regulars and a noobie like me. I got a pedi. Great service, not rushed and good quality. Lower prices than most in town too! Definitely going back!
P. S. You’re better off bringing your own flip flops, I do it wherever I go, but it didn’t seem like they had the little fake ones that you can walk out with. So of course you don’t wanna put your shoes on right after a pedi.

I went here the other day for a quick pedicure. Well, there wasn’t much quick about it. i believe the girl doing my nails was fairly new at it which is why it seemed to take some time. I was suprised at the price $ 25 and the pedi was mediocre. She got a bit to agressive with the cuticles and the toe nail trim.
it gets a solid eh from me. There are a few more stand along salons i would try before I went back. On the plus one of the owners has a very cute little dog named Lexy.
