Pizza Hut

I feel I need to leave a five star review to help bring up the average for this Pizza Hut restaurant. I just don’t understand how some people leave a poor rating and review based on a single experience. You should always try more than once because «stuff happens» in the restaurant business. Also, the Guy that commented that the pizza maker was using his bare hands to make pizza, that’s what you do when you make pizza. You do not wear gloves nor are you required to for handling food that is uncooked. Duh!
I’ve been here only for the buffet, and my experience has always been positive. Yes, there have been times where they are short staffed, but you can’t plan how busy you are going to be every day and sometimes you get overwhelmed. Patience? Anyone know what that is? Expecting 5 star service at a Pizza Hut is crazy and you should keep in mind the people working here for low wages try to do the best they can. If not, be nice and tell them what was wrong with your experience. They’ll be sure to make it right.
If the buffet needs more food, ask. If there are too many dirty tables, tell the manager. Anything else, lodge a complaint like a nice person and watch what happens.
All in all, good food, reasonable prices and a very friendly staff.

As far as Pizza Huts go, the Carlisle location provides all the offerings you’d expect. The buffet is a family favorite!
As far as the service, we’ve had a mix of good and not so good. At its best, we get great check ins for drink refills, quick meal delivery, and our requests for items on the buffet honored. At its worst, we wait for almost an hour for food, no one checks in for drink refills. The worst experience was ordering for pick up, but after getting there to pick it up, management said they must have forgotten to put our order in, so I had to wait. While this only happened once with me, I’ve seen other customers waiting in line complaining of similar issues.
Overall, my wife and I love Pizza Hut and while there are some areas for improvement, this location will always be our hometown Pizza Hut! We enjoy it and would recommend it to anyone (with the caveat that you might have to wait a little longer than expected while there for your food!)

Service is terrible. One guy named Jordan doesn’t do much except talk to the guy making pizza. Trash is on every empty table only one server who is obviously overwhelmed trying to do it all. They should have at least one more server to assist. The facility is nice though. The food is fine.

Wow, disgusting!!! The waitress comes out the bathroom blowing her nose, grabs our silverware and brings it to our table, ALL WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS. Then the cook is preparing pizzas with his bare hands! We got up and left immediately.

My family and I came here for the pizza buffet. I was here a few months ago and was somewhat disappointed. The buffet was rarely ever completely filled and paper plates had to be used because the lack of clean plates.
I must say this time was totally different. The buffet always had plenty of pizza and bread sticks available. The salad bar was fully stocked and the two pasta sides were always fresh and not dried out.
Our sever kept our table clear of used plates and glasses filled with our drinks of choice. My daughter couldn’t finish her drink so our server put her drink in a to go cup and topped it off. When we left my daughter forgot her drink and our server was kind enough to bring it out to her before we left.
Overall this visit was much better than the one before.

So I’m not in the habit of rating large chains like Pizza Hut, but this needed to be reviewed.
On the outside of this one would make you think it’s recently renovated and upon arriving inside, you also get that feel if it wasn’t so dimly lit and small. The random chairs scattered across the entire restaurant was also peculiar.
We went there on Friday night around 8 o’clock, which I guess is late for a small town like Carlisle, but the restaurant had made 3 other tables full other than ours (so not busy at all). We immediately order breadsticks as an appetizer, our drinks and a large pizza. Okay, simple stuff so far. Our waitress comes back with our drinks and then we wait. And wait. And wait. You figure by this time our breadsticks, AN APPETIZER, would have come by now. But no, they have not. So we wait. Finally we saw our pizza come out, so I look at the other people I was with and then told the waitress «I guess you can just cancel our order of breadsticks now.» She curtly responds that they put the breadsticks in with their pizzas (LOAD OF CRAP, I TELL YOU!) and that they come out at the same time. So she returns with our breadsticks a few minutes later and they’re cold. Grrreat.
So would I go back to this establishment? Absoutly not. When did they change their breadsticks policy???
