Ok, Amy’s stars do not reflect her comments. Instead of writing a novel here we go. Scary, Dirty and Creepy. Amy writes«they are trying their best» If I were them I would try something else.

This provided us with the basics, at a reasonable rate. Dogs are allowed, and they have a really beautiful area that the pets can play in the back of the property near the pool. The area is very large too so that they can run. I was really surprised by this. If you have a pet that needs to run or play, this space is ideal. The pictures on trip advisor are not accurate. The rooms are not that updated… not at least the one I stayed in. Our room was quiet, and it did face the highway… but you cannot really hear it because the trees and greenery buffer that. We could see the sunset from our room, and there are picnic tables outside that you can eat at. Which I thought was a really nice touch if you get there early enough. Everyone said this place was horrible, and when I walked into room 132, it smelled like roach spray mixed with food… and I was really upset. But they moved me to 130… and my experience was so much better. It’s a quiet property, it is run down in the hallways. But the rooms are doable. As long as they don’t smell like my first room did. They should steam clean the carpets, and update this property… because they would get many more positive reviews. And it’s a shame because the natural greenery around the property and the picnic tables are really a nice feature on an evening where you could sit outside. I think these people try their best. Seems like a family running it. I think they are trying to make improvements little by little. Thank you for allowing pets

This is also about the Red Roof Inn in Allentown, Pa.. The guide shows that it has free continental breakfast and that is the reason I stayed there. However, once I got there I was first told, «Oh, we’re redesigning the kitchen. No breakfast.» Then I remembered a year ago, when I had stayed at the sister RedRoof Inn who told me the same thing. I stayed there feeling I had been lied to by the Guide, which plainly states«Free Continental Breakfast». This can make a $ 10 difference in the rates, as you know. Then I was double lied to: «No Red Roof Inn gives a free breakfast.» Since I have stayed all over the country in Red Roof Inns and had quite good breakfasts there, I knew he was lying… and contradicting himself in his lies. I now find out they are CORPORATE owned, not franchises Red Roof Inns, which makes it worse. I ended up staying at the red Roof Inn in Hagerstown, Md. where at least they didn’t lie in the printed Guide about continental breakfasts. Beware. If they lie about this, what else are they lying about?
