Sheetz

25 minutes to make a basic Italian sandwich with no special instructions… I think not. Talk about slow. the guy finishing orders moving person I saw there. they spent more time talking with each other then completing orders.

I knew Sheetz and their sandwiches long before I ever meet Wawa. For that reason, I’m a bit biased. I definitely prefer Sheetz. It isn’t just a brand thing. Sheetz offers made to order sandwiches with numerous vegetarian/​vegan toppings (more than Wawa has). Touch screens allow you the ability to scroll through all they have to offer and create a sandwich just how you like it. Tomatoes, onions, pickles, hot and regular peppers, lettuce, spinach, if it is a regular thing on a sandwich, they probably offer it. Sauces range from mustard and ketchup and oil and vinegar to pesto and buffalo. Aside from maybe Publix in Florida, I haven’t meet a made to order sandwich I like on the same level as Sheetz. Subway? Not even close. Jimmy John’s? Nope. Firehouse Subs? Light that fire somewhere else.
Sheetz also has a large variety of donuts and sweets. These things are crazy, I’m talking iced donuts with cereal on top, stuffed donuts, candy on your donuts, If you can imagine it, they’ve probably done it. I think Sheetz is probably solely responsible for the obesity problem in central PA. Their products are just that good.
When I visit Pennsylvania, a trip to Sheetz is always near the top of the list. Now, if we can just get them to expand to Florida like Wawa…

Very negative experience just getting coffee on tiring drive along I81
Coffee canisters were completely empty except for 2 near empty ones,
Electronic creamer dispensers were completely out of flavored creamer and after ordering brewed premium lattes wife got barely warm one and returned it to get it hotter, it then came back half empty! After lengthy wait a 2^nd time around and wait at counter got refund and left to get coffee elsewhere not paying attention to coffee here
