I went in to get a mani/​pedi. Pedicure was great, pretty standard. For the mani I asked for nail extensions w/​just gel — no acrylic because it leaves my nails very brittle and damaged. Unfortunately, they came out wonky, bumpy, and vey uneven. Only two coats of the color itself was applied and left the color looking weak and almost see-​through. The price and quality really did not match up. Won’t be returning to this salon.

I am visiting Carlsbad from Northern California and needed my nails done. I’m generally pretty picky and will watch how they’re doing, and it’s usually kinda awkward for me at a salon. I had zero problems with Nini. I had a little wait, but was quickly distracted with the wide variety of gel colors to pick from. (Which is rare for anyone to have) She did my nails very well, didn’t hurt my hands, zero mistakes and was very agile. We watched the show Lost. She now has me hooked, watching it at home. Relaxing with my beautiful nails.

I really love this place! I have tried many nails salon but every time my nails would turn yellow for no reason, no matter where I would go! They are very close to my work so that’s vey good! They do an amazing job! Unlike most nails salon where they talk in their language and you are sitting there thinking if they are talking about you, they don’t talk a lot in their language! I mean they do but you can tell that they are not talking about you! Everyone is nice and friendly! Nini does an amazing job! And Cathy is so good and nice! I went to her to get my legs waxed and she did such a good job! It didn’t even hurt! I highly recommend this place!

The best part about this place was the prices. You can’t beat a $ 25 mani/​pedi. I would go back to get a mani/​pedi of it wasn’t for a special occasion. The pedicure was good, but I wish they scrubbed my feet more. The manicure could have been better, my nails were not cut/​filed evenly and they chopped after the first day. One thing I did like was the color selection and the way they were arranged.
I also got my eyebrows cleaned up and it was $ 10. It didn’t hurt at all and I had a good experience. They could have cleaned it up a little better, but over all impressed.
The reason I gave them 4 stars is because of the prices and overall friendliness.

I have gone here twice now, and it’s a gem of a place. My gel manicure lasted three weeks with no visible damage. I love the calm atmosphere. This is not a factory-​style shop. Make an appointment. Great prices, too.

Great place! They take their time here and I always feel relaxed and at ease. I don’t ever get the up-​sale and mani pedis are thoroughly done. They offer tea too. Been coming here for years and have no complaints.

I’ve been looking for a nail salon that I like ever since moving to Oceanside and went through Unilocal looking. After a dissatisfying experience at a place called Crystal Rose, I felt i was not going to find a good place. Them I saw this place while having dinner at Rubios in the same shipping center. I was Very pleased with my manicure that Nini did for me. She did exactly what I wanted. I showed up 20 mins till closing and they took me in. They were really nice and friendly. I really liked the manicure bar area, it was something new and interesting that I’ve never seen before. They had a huge variety of gel color to choose from… I loved having so many options. Will definitely recommend this place.

Nini is the absolute best when it comes to Lash Extensions. She takes her time and makes sure they are perfect. I get compliments daily on my lashes. She did a full set for me and since then I’ve been going back for fills every 2 to 3 weeks. 5 stars!!!

New favorite nail salon! I had to write a review the moment I left. They really know how to accommodate their customers. The girl who did my nails took her time and really paid attention to making them perfect! Another thing I LOVE is they have TONS of colors (gel/​regular) to choose from. It’s a relief to find a great salon after going to many places that just rushed and I would leave bummed out. This place rocks!

I am new to the area and picked this based off of reviews. The staff was VERY friendly & even switched the TV channel for me from the Disney channel. The price for my gel manicure was very reasonable. They give quite the discount for paying cash certain weekdays, which I love! I will go back, it is very close to my house!

I came here with a friend for a manicure on a Sunday and the place was completely empty.
The manicures didn’t take long. They did a good job. They have individual nail dryers that they bring to you. I really liked this and it worked really well! My nails were completely dry in less than 12 minutes.
The set up for manicures is great. It’s set up like a bar with high chairs. It’s very open and good for socializing. But if you come alone there is a big screen TV right behind the «bar» that you can watch too.
Customer service was good, but a little odd. The nail techs were very nice and did a good job, but they seemed nervous/​flustered the whole time. I don’t know if maybe their manager was there and they were nervous about not doing a good job or something. Or maybe they were new employees? Not sure.
Lastly, the price was good. If I remember correctly I think it cost $ 12 which is fair in my opinion.
Overall, I am happy with this nail salon. It’s definitely not the best that I’ve ever been too, but I think the price and convenience (it’s close to my apartment) make it worth it. I will be coming back again.

Great place and service. What’s different here is the experience. So many options on seating, I like the smaller seats with the disposable «buckets» for lack of a better word. They also have the jet spa seats now, too as well as the manicure bar.
A long list of teas and flavored water.
They removed my calluses without charging extra.
A hidden gem for sure. I’ll be back.

I received a walk-​in mani/​pedi from Nina and Emily, and both of my services were great. It seems the owners took note of the «lower to the ground» pedicure chair complaints… because I sat in a regular spa chair that worked just fine. I really liked the ambiance and cleanliness of the facility. I have to mention that their polish selection was quite impressive, with tons of regular polish and gel colors to choose from.
If you’re a harsh «nail place» cretic… you will deal with up sales here, like anywhere else. There is a bit a language barrier, but both ladies that worked on me were extremely professional and just all around sweet.
My sister recommended this place to me, definitely pleased to spread the word :)

I have been many nail salon place, and 4ever21 is the best salon I have been to. There are several reasons why I give this place 5 stars.
1. Clean environment.
2. Great service.
3. Mani/​Pedi location and interior.
I always look for the one that’s clean, and this is the one I have been looking for.
