Bella Forma Pilates

After being a loyal customer for over a year going twice weekly, imagine my surprise to return from traveling for the last 6 weeks to find not only are the doors closed but the place is totally cleaned out. I have at least nine sessions left that I have payed for and no notice of this happening. Loved both of my instructors Susan and Angelique. Should have known something was up when Susan left to go elsewhere. I am now out $ 300 plus dollars… so Gina Axelson, Owner & Certified Pilates Instructor when am I going to get my money back???

I haven’t been consistent with my pilates in the last month or so because of my Ironman training schedule and a whole lot of other things but I kind of sensed something was off here since the beginning of the year. I would go twice a week. From there being no receptionist to check in patrons, the once monthly newsletters the owner would send to loyal patrons that became non-​existent since December, stained carpets, no clean towels, no water in the cooler, dirty equipment – and it seemed like none of the equipment was being maintained.
While my 1:1 instructors Angelique and Alison are AMAZING, it just seemed the owner was really neglecting the store and could care less about the business her loyalist would give her. Turns out… the business is now shut down. You can tell a lot about an owner if she checks out without even reaching out to her patrons and letting them know what was going on — or stringing us along. She even canceled her Facebook page without even thanking those who have helped grow her business. I’ll go wherever my instructors go but will never support a business owner who doesn’t appreciate her customers.
Bella Forma, it was fun while it lasted but what made you so great was your instructors.

Studio was clean, equipment was decent and the instructor was good. The moves were on the average side, but we had all level of students in the class. I would take additional classes in a more advance class.

I was new to Pilates when I tried Bella Forma, and they treated me with respect, kindness and patience while serving up a custom work out to increase my core strength. I have had several 1:1 sessions and tried a couple classes and love it all. The big problem is the cost of Pilates, but I have looked all over N County and Bella Forma offers the best prices — without risking great instructors, awesome location and clean, upscale environment. Love it!

I’m an extremely active person — marathons, hiking, Bikram, etc. and this was actually the first time I’ve ever taken Pilates. I have always thought I had a super strong core, but was definitely humbled by the mat class at Bella Forma.
I absolutely love the small and intimate class size. The teacher was clear and concise with her instruction. She gave extra attention to form and made corrections when needed, which I totally appreciate.
The reason I’ve previously hesitated starting Pilates is due to the expense. If you want to take the Reformer classes, you’re talking like $ 50 to $ 100 per session which is way out of my price range. Even most mat classes are between $ 20 to $ 35. Bella Forma’s mat class is only $ 15, which I find a great value based on the average price I’ve seen.
Overall, I was extremely pleased with the class and this will definitely become a regular part of my fitness routine.

A great pilates studio. They have privates, mat classes and reformer classes as well as other cool stuff going on. It’s clean, upscale and totally worth it — a great community of people run this place.
