Claire Alyse Makeup

Claire is simply the best. She did my wedding makeup, engagement pictures, and has done a makeup lesson with me. She is extremely professional, creative, and listens to what the client wants. She is incredibly sweet and smart and I have recommended her to many of my friends for their weddings. She has done about six of my friends weddings now and they were all very happy with her work. I HIGHLY recommend her for any special day.

Claire was a wonderful addition to my wedding vendor team. She is highly professional yet pleasant and put everyone at ease. I never felt as beautiful as I did after having her complete my makeup for my wedding. All 6 members of my bridal party (MOH, 2 BM, MOG, MOB) and I had our makeup done. We all turned out looking stunning. I changed my mind on the color palette for my eyes the week of and did not complete a second trial before my wedding. She didn’t even blink and acquiesced to my request with dazzling results. Claire is an absolute gem! There is no one I would rather hire if I ever need professional makeup completed again!

Claire is fantastic! She did makeup for myself and my bridesmaids for my wedding day and I could not have asked for a better artist! I don’t normally wear much more than mascara so I had no idea what I even wanted. She was able to take my natural coloring and features and make them look amazing! Every one of the 8 girls LOVED their makeup also. It’s tough to please that many ladies at once! She was professional, on-​time, and a blast to have around during the get-​wedding-​ready process! Claire is absolutely amazing! She did my makeup for my engagement pictures and wedding, as well as some of my bridesmaids on my wedding day. She made me feel so beautiful, but I still felt like myself, which was really important to me. Our pictures came out perfect and my makeup lasted all day and night as well! She’s truly an artist.

Claire did my bridesmaids and I’s make-​up for my wedding in Cabo San Lucas. Wow! She is amazing. I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt. Not to mention, my wedding was outdoors and it was 90 degrees and humid. She used an airbrush technique that made my make-​up look fresh throughout the entire day. She was professional, on-​time, and a joy to work with.

Claire was my makeup artist on my wedding day, and she exceeded my expectations in every way. Because I was planning my wedding from overseas, we communicated mostly via email. In fact, I didn’t meet Claire in person until a week leading up to my wedding. But even just from the emails alone, I knew Claire was very professional, talented and passionate in what she does. She was really prompt in responding to my emails and was very accommodating to my schedule and last-​minute changes. During the trial, she was very patient in trying different eyeshadows and lipstick colors on me. It didn’t matter if she was working on my eyes or my lips or my cheeks, she wouldn’t move on to the next part until she knew I was completely satisfied. At times I felt she was more patient with me than I was with myself! And because she knew I wasn’t used to having someone do my makeup, she was really good at explaining and giving me a heads up on what’s to come next. Makeup application on the day of the wedding was efficient, yet I never felt rushed or overlooked. Claire just made the whole process very easy and enjoyable. She certainly made me feel like I was her number one priority both during the trial and on the day of the wedding.

What sets Claire apart from many other makeup artists is her outstanding professionalism and her ability to create the look the client wants! I was very pleased Claire was able to do my trial at my home in Pasadena, regardless of being San Diego and Orange County based. When I hired Claire for my wedding she sent me a very well drafted contract that reassured me that I was hiring someone reliable on one of the biggest days of my life. It was a huge relief to know my makeup was being done by someone who was not only extremely talented but also very professional! Claire is excellent at enhancing her clients’ natural beauty and traits without making them look like a different person!
